Me In A Nutshell

I'm new to the site. I'm 20, female, stuck in Hicktown and my friends call me Giraffe. I love giraffes! I have giraffe spotted purses, giraffe necklaces, giraffe everything.

I am clairvoyant, clairsentient, an empath and a MAGNET for spirits. I'm not talking about the little refrigerator magnets either. One of the giant red and silver magnets that pulls stuff from feet away.

Since I have been very little, I knew I was different from all the other kids. I was extremely intelligent, physically smaller and just a little bit strange. Since I can remember, I've had visions, premonitions and various encounters with spirits. Footsteps when I'm alone, things following me home, sightings, you name it. I come from a long line of psychics and healers. My mother is especially psychic. I am only 4th generation in the US (we're from the wonderful country of Ireland!) so I imagine my ancestors may have been witches.

When I was only 10 years old, I would make "magic charms" and say rhymes to make things happen. I had no idea what I was doing at the time, but it felt like I should have been doing it. I never thought "God" was a man, but a woman. I felt the Goddess' presences with me, even that young. I suppose I have been a Wiccan for 10 years then. Sometimes practicing, sometimes not. Sometimes proclaiming myself Taoist or whatever else in an attempt to be something different. I've just accepted it now.

If someone is feeling sick, I will throw up with them. If there is impending doom around the corner, I see it and go the opposite way. There have been a few times when I didn't listen and every single time, my visions came true. I know what someone is going to say before they say it. I know what card is next in a deck of 52 cards. I can read auras and even fix the holes and tears in them.
