I can tell you that it's all about emotion. I've been controlling wind since I was six... When you want the wind to blow... It doesn't, because you question your ability. It's when you feel it going to, that it will. With me, I practiced singing. Whenever I sing a higher pitch, it blows harder.

You should try singing... Maybe it will work for you.

Also, if you want the wind to completely stop. (or you won't feel it, though it continues to blow) Then you have to feel no emotion at all. That's usually the hardest part.

Eh...just experiment, hope that I helped (^-^)

hey, you're a very positive and young person aren't you? Eager to learn though. A tip, its great what you can do, but try to remember not to exsercise your abilities with others expence. Because trust me, having no control whatsoever about what happens to you, what you do, or what you feel is no fun. I should know. [i'm an empath, so sometimes, if I'm not careful enough, my mood depends on how others are feeling.] you have a vey innocent, [mostly] and childish mind. Which isn't bad, of course.

Good luck, val.

Thanks katie, this is my area...

Zako, you have aerokinesis, and guessing by what you said in the last paragraph of your story, pyrokinesis too.

Be careful with aerokinesis, as it can get out of hand and hurt people. It is the hardest element to keep control of. I have it too.

People have strong points with their elemental control, me having 2, aerokinesis and hydrokinesis, and because of my thermokinesis, I am able to make places or rooms humid aswell. I can also mildy control Earth (geokinesis) and fire (pyrokinesis), but not as well as the other 2.

To make yourself better, all you need to do is practice. Practice makes perfect. It took me about half a year to master humidity control, and that was because I have to use all of my strong points at the same time.

To begin practicing aerokinesis, it may be easier to focus on one small thing. I suggest a candle because you are pyrokinetic, but you can also use a glass of water (push the water to one side) or trees (making them sway in the wind). Start by lighitng a candle with a mathc, rather then pyrokinesis, as judging by your story suggests youe aerokinesis is stronger. Focus on blowing the candle out with your mind. I'm not sayin this is going to come easy, as it takes more then just a quick 5-10 minute practice a day. Just generally, when you have ANY spare time, get to practicing this. When you are strong and confident with aerokinesis, and can blow the candle out without barely thinking about it, then move onto pyrokinesis, do the same again, but focus on lighting the candle, making the flame grow or shrink, etc. Once you get past these first bounds, it gets a whole lot easier, as you have mastered your ability and are able to control it wisely. Think of ways to combine the 2, and try doing that, but only when you are perfectly confident with them, otherwise this could make you very impatient and you might get irritated and give up. This would be terrible, as it sounds as if you have quite a gift.

My 3 friends and I have all different strong points in elemental powers : friend no. 1 Geokinesis, friend no. 2 hydrokinesis, friend no. 3 pyrokinesis, and myself of course aerokinesis. They all do exactly what I've told you to do (practice) but in different ways to help develop their own powers. You have to be naturally able, even the tiniest bit, to be able to develop on and eventuallt control all elements properly. Don't try this until you've mastered your first 2 properly. I have just started on pyrokinesis, so I'm doing the same exercises as mentioned in this post at the moment. Any more questions, just ask.

Meditation also helps. Do not let your brain wonder onto different things, otherwise it won't work. Just focus on one element of control right now, depending on what you want to start with. When you have mastered them both individually, meditate on controlling them both.

Hope this helps,
Charlotte. :)

Steve - as a curious person, I agree. It is good to be aware of the dangers. Still, some people push them. I don't like risks. Think they are silly, but only in this level. I do them a lot perhaps even here. I never expect to write again or know again. I like that. I just do what I want then sometimes what I hear. None of us are perfect.

I have seen the wind under control by some unseen power many times. It is said that it is of evil by some. They call the whirl winds dust devils. I do not think it is an evil thing. Perhaps it is the destructiveness that make people think it is evil. We cannot have constructive with out destructive. It is wise to be aware of the yin and yang of things. Curiosity is a good thing. It is safer to aware of dangers.

Sorry Zako - not really able to help a lot. I'm pretty unconcerned about weather. My mom was like that. As a child, she and I sat in her car one morning as she debated about whether to go to my uncle's storm cellar. Then we saw a tornado, perfect funnel, go over the house next door and damage the roof. She said, Well, it's by us now. No don't need to go. We went inside and had toast. Years later, I was married and in another state. I phoned, worried. She had been shopping for a new skirt for church. The big shopping center next door was hit. The tornado tore off part of the front and damaged the building she was in. She told me this calmly. I was sooo worried. I said, What did you do? She told me that she decided not to get the skirt, that it just wasn't quite right and the power was off so it would have taken forever to pay for it probably. I was freaked. I said, No, about the tornado. She said Oh, we all saw it. We were watching out the front. But then, remembering back, I'm as bad. Once in a bad storm, a window I was looking out, blew out and I caught it. The building manager thought it was funny. I think they had taken shelter. My office was the top floor and it was a two person deal and the other person was gone. The glass wasn't broken in the window though.
