Hi Oracle,
I don't normally go looking for help and deal with it on my own. But lately there has been this odd kind of urgency like I am not learning fast enough. I think my guide wants me to not be so afraid of seeing spirits and demons. But I am, even the sight of my guide freaked me out. And yea I saw him, on the side of the road while I was sitting on the passenger side. I was scared for a whole day, but my dreams and experiences lately has me constantly challenging demons. There are things that I just seem to know, no premonition, no dream, someone can be introduced to me and later while freed up from booze I tear out their most inner secret pain and tell them stuff. I try not to do it, but sometimes it slips.
And for the past months I have been waking up at ungodly hours because something is there. I try to meditate but my body keeps moving forward and I feel like I am zooming through the air. I am in the stars one second, and the depths of the sea the next. I am starting to land on the 'island' and see the things there. At one point I landed and there was the dark shadow that attacked my face, and I think it was my guide that said I had to learn how to subdue it myself. And I imagined a white hand grabbing onto it and felt it squirming as I pulled it from me. My guide states my spirits are here and there are more to come. These are just some of the experiences I have, and I kind of know and don't know at the same time. Help 😨

Brittany, the glowing lights, shadows, and smoke you see would be a form of energy. Spirits and ghosts use these as well as Guides. It takes less energy for them to appear that way than to use human form. If you are anywhere outdoors when you see them and they are no where near you but come and go without trying to make contact with you then they most likely are spirits. However if they appear in your home and/or come to you then they could be either spirits or your Guides. You would need to make contact with your Guides and communicate with them to find out if they are in fact your Guides or not. Tell me if you need help contacting your Guides.

Brittany, to help remember your dreams:

1.Repeat to yourself just before you go to sleep, "I will remember my dreams when I wake." Say this two or three times.

2.Also pray to God or your Guides before you sleep and ask for help remembering your next dreams.

3.As soon as you wake, write every detail down in a journal.

4.As soon as you wake think about what you dreamed and go over every detail in your mind. This takes the dream and implants it into your brain's memory cells so that throughout the day you will continue to remember it all. Otherwise we naturally forget out dreams and disregard them to prepare our brain for the next ones. (Our brain knows that we intend on dreaming many more and it does not want to have to worry about storing them all!)

5.Buy a deck of dream cards. They are picture cards on most things we dream about so that by looking at the cards it triggers our memory (ie: plane, water, car, tree, cat, building, flower, boat, etc). I have a set and they really do work.

Always happy to help. ❤

Cloudy, yes I recently have learned how to dream of anyone I want. The other night my guide treated me with a dream in which I got to visit an old friend of mine from childhood who I had been asking about. I have not seen him since I was 8. The dream was the sweetest gift ever. My guide led me to him and was there during our visit.

I have also been asking to dream of Marilyn Monroe and that too was granted. It was amazing. She wore a cute suit of a soft fabric and when she saw how happy I was to see her she hugged me tightly and I could feel how soft the fabric was. I then asked her questions about her life and she told me things that shocked me. The next morning I researched those things and they were true and to the very detail she had told me. I never knew those things about her and it was so exact. So I knew it really had been her. I am so happy to have met her! She had died before I was born so it always upset me that I never got to know her. Now I can say I know her and met her!

I dreamt about Obama the other night. Would rather not say it here. At least not at this time.

As for lucid dreams I now know how to have them. I simply ask my guides before I sleep to have certain abilities and they have been given each time. My guides have even entered my dreams with me and have been there in my dreams to help guide me through it. It certainly does help!

BAO, I would be happy to help you. I have been advising others on this forum and on others. I will be creating an email address just for this purpose. In the meantime perhaps I can answer some of your questions on here. (Is there no private message service on this website?)

101, your response is intriguing & you've given me a lot to think about... I think you're onto something very real, when you say that you need to go outside to communicate with the guides. That was something I needed to hear, too.
Have you ever tried to dream of someone in particular? ❤

ive just recently uploaded a post about hearing voices when I'm driffting into sleep and something I want to try to do is teach myself not to shock myself awake once I hear the voices. Its like I hear something, but can't speak back.

Oracle101... One of the ways to get more power or control over your dreams is when you realize that you are in a dream is to be able to look at your hands... You look at them for a second... Look away and go back and look at them for another second or two... This is a good first step and takes a few months to develop. Once you can do that then its looking at stuff in your dreams the same way... Look for a second break away then go back and look. The reason for all this is that when something gets your attention in a dream the longer that you look at it the more it will change. So you develop the control over it changing... Even though its only but a moment!

The advice I have always followed is to command yourself to have a clarifying dream. All it takes is the conscious desire to know more about it.

You dream of the future; now it's time to learn to control it. Even try meditation. Though sleep is often the best method for reaching a medium state (total release of conscious thought, to allow subconscious influence to flourish), meditation can be just as effective.

Integrate this ability into your life. It's your decision to transform this from psychic dreaming to constant intuition.

Thank you, Deb. That does help.

Cloudy, I agree with the idea of being able to make it happen. My opinion on how that works is that our guides can see what we are doing and by us writing they also can see what we think (perhaps some of them can read the written word better than reading our thoughts). This gives our guides an opportunity to make our wishes come true. I also found that by saying before I sleep "I am going to remember my dreams when I awake" that I do in fact remember them more clearly. Of course I dream several visions per night so obviously the last one I dream is more vivid in my memory upon waking. I need a guide to wake me after each dream so I can remember the details better. 😁

To meet the person from my vision dream I also need to go outdoors and ask for guidance on where to go to meet them. Sometimes I already have a plan for my next day or my guides know the future so know where I will be the next day and who I will meet so I dream a vision dream about that stranger the night before and have an important message to pass onto them when I meet them. So obviously if I stay indoors it limits my ability to solve my dreams.

Whereas other vision dreams about other countries I can simply research it in the news to solve them. Sadly those ones are harder to prevent, such as floods, earthquakes, etc. In my dreams I am actually there when it happens so although I get to travel for free it is sad when I can do nothing to prevent those events.

Any other input?

(Ps. Ironically the day some of you asked me to submit another story about myself the webmasters removed that page and option. So it will have to wait for when they can take story submissions again.) 😢

I kept a dream journal because my dreams are vivid & fun to write about; & I think that as a side effect of that exercise, I was able to have my first lucid dream before I reached two weeks of writing.
One practice that helped induce the lucid dream was to write down phrases such as, "Tonight I'm going to have a lucid dream, in which I have control over the event." Also, I make sure to be as honest and accepting of the dream while recalling it. During the day, relating your dreams to your personal needs or emphasizing the value of dreams by writing in your journal will trigger the lucid dream state.
If I were attempting to meet a person again in a lucid dream, I would think about them before falling asleep and form the most important question. Tell yourself that tonight you're going to talk to them.❤

I don't know that I can offer any advice but I can certainly relate. I too dream of the future. Usually something happens everyday that I dreamt of before. On occasion I have dreamt the same prophetic dream twice but it's very rare that I do and I don't know what I have done to make it happen when it does happen. I wish I could control it at will more and allow myself to have more control in my dreams and dream them as many times as I wanted.
I will say this though and maybe it will help or at least give you some ideas. I now keep a dream journal where I write my dreams down every day. I didn't used to do this because I have a pretty good memory and thus didn't see the need for keeping a journal. However, I wanted to be able to remember dates of the dreams so that I could compare them with when the event actually happened. Thus, the dream journal. For some reason, since I've started doing that, I've been able to have more control (although not as much as I would like but still more) over myself in dreams. In other words, I can ask people questions, control what rooms or what places I go, but not in every dream just on occasion can I do that. Since keeping the dream journal, I've been able to have the same dream twice. Again not too often but at least its happened. Also again, not sure why, but it seems to me that there is a link. So my advice to you is if you don't keep a dream journal then give it a try. If you already do keep a dream journal then this advice is useless, sorry. LOL. Good luck!

Good comments. Thank you. I of course welcome any further comments on this.

I agree that normally you would assume one cannot influence the dream since that would change the future, thus paradox. However, I have been able to have some small influence such as having people in my dreams repeat their name twice, and asking a killer a question. So it does seem possible, as least for me. Now all I need to learn is how to increase that, as well as how to re-dream the same dream twice (as it shows in the TV series Medium).

Last night I dreamed about soldiers being hit with grenades while riding in a large open jeep while a few others walked ahead of it. Other soldiers had been hiding behind shrubbery nearby. The men being hit shouted out in surprise about it being "Arfibulators". Today I researched that word but it does not seem to exist. Although on the radio today I heard three Canadian soldiers got killed today in Afghanistan by a very large bomb. Difficult to say at this time if they were the same soldiers. The news will not say enough about it. My dream was very detailed.

Any advice?

I am no authority, I probably should not even be answering this, because I have absolutely no experience.

At the risk of sounding silly...

While I was reading your letter I was thinking... Ask God (or your higher power, whatever you believe in)? Before you go to bed at night ask God if he would grant you the wisdom or clarity to be more helpful in dreams?

Good luck to you Oracle!

Warm Regards and Blessings to you,

IndigoCat ❤

You can't control a dream of the future if you did then you would be controling the future or the dream predicted would be incorrect. Sometimes you just have to let things go there course. I'm sorry if I kind of put you down... 😢
