I understand Kathlyn, I am not big on organized religion myself. I stick to God's word, prayer and a daily loving relationship with Jesus. In my search, I found that God loved me no matter how bad I was. He is so perfect that He could not even look upon me because of all the bad baggage that I carried with me. His word told me that Jesus died so that I would not have to carry that bad baggage anymore and that I could lay it at His feet. Being human though, I like to pick it back up once in a while and God's grace and love for me allows me to put it back at His feet again and renew my relationship with Him. That is the most awesome love I have ever experienced and it is for everyone, not just me. I just can't figure out why everyone does not rush to have the same assurance that I do, peace, love, forgiveness and it all works together with no disconnect. I have not faced anything in life that there has not been guidence for in His word. Believe me, I have looked around all these years. Forget organized religion-there is just none like Him.

Ohreally

The simpliest way of putting I do not believe in the Organized Religion version of god. I believe in the intent of the bible not the bible itself.

I believe the a mixture of beliefs ranging from Brighid (St. Brigit) to Cerennos. I also believe in host other things. The religion should support enlightment through Knowledge instead of ignorance of the masses.

Of course it's harder to believe because it's not your belief. I cannot tell you what a goddess looks like just as you cannot tell me what God looks like. And Earth Goddess is another type of belief. A goddess is basically a godly female figure who represents/controls an element, for example in greek mythology, Zues controls the sky and weather. Not everyone believes in God, which is why I say that no god/goddess gives us our gifts. You asked us what we think and I told you. No one can tell you how to use your gifts because you have free will.
Please, do not question my beleifs when you asked us for our beliefs.

Blessed be

Just because you don't believe in God does not mean that He did not give the gifts to you. Why would the Earth give you gifts? I have been around a long time but the only gifts I get from the earth is when I plant potatoes. I have never read a book that was written and inspired by the earth that tells me what to do with my gifts. There seems to be a disconnect here somewhere. What is an earth goddess, what does she look like? Just curious. Seems a whole lot harder to believe than what the Bible teaches, just wondering?

You are absolutely right Ohreally God gives us different gifts and we can only fine tune them with his help. I feel energy of some kind, it feels like an electrical currant, I am sensitive to others hidden emotions and intentions and I feel things I can't explain rationally. It is all spiritual because we ourselves are first spiritual beings and our creator is a spirit (Holy Spirit). God gives everyone specific gifts designed to aid in our purpose because he also gave us the choice to fulfill our purpose in him or to choose the world and leave his gifts behind. It isn't crazy or supernatural it really is a natural cycle, everything is spiritual and made of this divine energy that God created everything from. The spiritual energy is infinite, no beginning, no end, physically we die but the energy never dissipates it continues to flow. Some people have figured out how to tune into it or read it, the rest of us have to ask for direction. I believe also in prayer and asking for instruction- prayer will never lead you astray.

I believe in the Lord, and the Bible. I think that the Lord gives us these ability's, even for the people who don't believe in him, for a reason, and one day, we'll understand and know why. For myself, I don't have a power, but I can feel inside me, that I meant for so much more in this life, than a "normal" person. So I pray every night, and ask the Lord, what it is. He will eventually answer.

I only discovered my gift for seeing auras yesterday. 😁 And now I am going to really ask myself, why have I got this gift? What do I do with it? Do I tell anyone else about it? I have told 3 people already, ones that I can trust. But not my mum or dad or brother. But my friend, and 2 of my cousins. 😁 I really feel touched now, and the sun is shining and I am smiling.
I think the gifts come from in us, what we believe and how we see the world. My opinion anyway.
Love you all - musicgirl789

I think that these gifts don't come from any spefic god/goddess but from the Earth herself. We are the Earth's children, we live on her, and we discover great things on her. So why wouldn't our talents come from the one we live on? The one were suppose to help?
Sure, the god/goddess we believe in may help out, but I always believe that it is traced back to the Earth.
Not everyone believes the Bible, and yet, they still have gifts. So, why would God have given the gifts to us, if not all people believe in Him?
I'd like to say the my Goddess gave me my gifts, but she didn't. She gave gifts to the Earth, which then gave them to me. It's all a cycle.
We all have a gift, some of us are just to narrow-minded to discover them. I'm proud to say that I have discovered mine. 😁
