I understand your point of view, but I think you won't stay neutral for long, I think that when you see the horrors, that the dark will inflict on the humans, on the children, you will force yourself to fight. Do not mistake this war for a petty one between humans, its not about idology, or resources, but its about the survival of the human race. What you said is true, for the dark side, they are overly eager to fight. But those on the light only fight because their principles force them too. I personaly wish this war would never happen, but I am fighting for the life of those that have the right to live. Like I said before, this war will force you to fight, if you have any compassion at all for those who raised you, fed you, and loved you. You are a good person, and by good I mean I feel you have integrity, so you will find yourself holding a sword by the end of this war.
A pacifest, is someone that values peace, which is good, but not when it makes you stand down in the face of evil.
A relucntunt warior is someone who values peace, but when evil needs to be faced, he/she will fight to stop it. And believe me, destruction of the humans is evil in its purest form.
This is just my opinion, I don't want to offend anyone.

I read your story, but I have one question:

When you wrote this, Did you put anything in it?

In my opinion, choosing a side is something that I decided to do, but it isn't nessasry. If I knew someone wanted to kill the entire human race, I'd fight until I die to stop them. I'm human, and therefore, I will protect my race. It's what I chose.
You chose not to pick a side, and quite a few people have done that. It's your choice, and that's what matters.

I personally don't want a war. It isn't nessacry. If we can simply CHANGE humans instead of KILLING them, this world would be better. By killing humans, we would stoop to their level, and be no better than they are. They kill people all the time for no reason, and if psychics do that same, were no better than the thick-headed humans in this world.

What a nice way to start the morning. Thanks for such an insightful and well written post.

Being that we currently exist in "first grade" fighting is definitely status quo. The ego, such that it is, has to have an "us" and a "them". So we make up religious reasons, sexual differences and dominances, pursuit of some lofty goal we want to push onto others, greed, etc. So that we can "fight the good fight." And just when we side with someone and stop fighting, we knock on the community, state, or country next door and find some other reason to fight. And if the world united today, it would find some alien being to fight. So yes, you're dead accurate in that fighting is what the basic human element does at 'this' level. As for the 'wrong people butting heads' who can say who that really is? We don't know the higher purpose of what is happening (we think we do but we aren't evolved enough to truly know and if we were, we'd not be here). It is with extreme difficulty in that I say what we judge we don't understand. Crazy as it sounds, there just IS and that plays out in a million ways as "good and bad".

Let the fighters fight because that's where they need to be at this time. This doesn't mean you or I have to. Should we not let the first graders be in first grade? If not, isn't that because we want them to be more like us (an ego based thought as in "Oh I'm so great, be like me.") It is necessary, as ugly as it seems. The beautiful world is being sacrificed so that first graders can do what they do. And eventually, she'll shed them like fleas and the cycle will start all over again and then again and then again, just like the Mayan calendar. This is the plane of existence that we're in. This is the first grade. You probably fought lifetimes ago but have evolved to what you are now, but you couldn't have gotten here without having been through the previous. You can't get to second or third grade without going through first. Everyone evolves at their own rate, not at the rate we want to dictate. Thank God for this because there are those far beyond us that aren't hurrying us beyond our current capability.

Not taking a side is probably the closet to being truly evolved. Reality at so many levels is a game and a play and getting sucked in to the drama is just buying into the play, which is fine, because that's why we're here, but when we see it for what it is, we then ascend to the next level. I have no doubt that your time here on this plane won't be long. Just sit back and neutrally watch. The drama is going to increase and it's your insight that will keep you from being drawn in and lowering your vibrations.

Thanks for sharing.
Anne
