hi I tried talking to them but they were scared I was as well. I've heard spirits but they never seem to talk in front of me just in another room or downstairs to other spirits. I dream of the spirit world as well but when you talk to them you never see there mouth move. They talk but I can't see that. Most of them smile there all friendly but 1 of them who was a loved one he walked into me either on purpose or madly. He walked right though me I didn't feel anything but fear then looked behind me and he was gone. 😊

hi, thanks for the comment I have tried zener cards but I don't get very high scores but I have other signs that say I'm psychic do you think that not being able to do zener cards that well is just one of the psychic abilities that need to develop on me like if I really concentrate or something?

Hi Glenda! I've been busy settling into my new house, so I haven't been on the site much. Just wanted to send a quick hello to you!

My mother could NOT handle my daughter's gift of seeing spirits at all. It was something she refused to discuss. She passed away before I figured out I had any abilites. The only thing my dad knows is that I have dreams that come true. I wouldn't dare tell him the rest about me. He told me, that under no certain terms, was I ever to tell him about ANY dream I had about him. He said he didn't want to know. This was after I told him I dreamt about my mom's death. He knows I don't just dream about doom and gloom, but he wants nothing to do with it.

Actually, I disagree you can hide certain things from your parents. I myself have hidden what I am able to do. In fact it was only very recently that I finally came out about being an empath for over 11 years. I still do not talk about all of my dreams and remote viewing that I do, and some stories I do not even post on here. However, I will admit that over the years I've opened up enough to say certain stories to my parents. They are extremely understanding and I couldn't ask for better parents. Though it is possible to keep dark secrets from your parents... For your whole entire life... Is it fun... No sometimes it's irratating, but you have to see if the pro's outway the cons. I believe that telling all your secrets can be fatal. I do not know when people decided that just because you say it outloud that it makes everything better, it does not. It can help, if you or the person(s) are willing to change through action. Some secrets are better left untouched, no matter how much you love the person.

Thats interesting but I'm not telling my parents I'm psychic yet because its not that strong but maybe in a while I might when I know for sure that I'm psychic and I know that its more powerful. I have only told my best friend about my psychic abilities and I think that she might be psychic to but we both believe in paranormal things so its easy to talk to her but when I know more about all this I might tell them but I think you can keep this from your parents for a bit. 😁

I told my mum I saw spirits that I saw grandad
and other spirits. That my dreams have been coming true! My sister doesn't want to know but my mum and dad believe me why would I lie about seeing spirits and that. I'm scared of the dark I never used to be that is how it has effected me they know that. 😊 I caught a ghost on camera standing in the bath showed all my friends so they won't come my house and they can't believe it.

Dragonmom - I once told my mom, driving home from church, that people in the Bible dreamed. I wanted her to make some opening to tell her about mine. She shivered. I kept quiet. To me, real dreams are just natural. Still, stuff scares people. I can understand that. Scares me too sometimes.

Dragonmom - just a thought. I once remember telling my mom that my dad said the dumbest things and then they happened. She looked away and laughed. It happened a lot. Stuff like this guys a crook - a govenor or something. My dad wasn't into politics. Then the person would get arrested and convicted. Happened a lot all my life. And my mom was worse but never said anything to her. She cried easily. So, I really wonder if children need to tell their parents and make them uncomfortable. Parents know how they are and their offspring are like them. Some parents, because of religion or fear, just like to not acknowledge it. They do in little ways or mine did. It would have been very helpful and nice to have an open discussion, a lot, but I just don't think they could have dealt with it. That hurt, but I understood. I've let my children know that I'm open to all things, except yuck stuff. But, perhaps my parents were wiser to make me work for myself. If a parent or parents can't deal with it, as mine couldn't, in an open discussion, I don't know if it's good to try and make it happen. In later years I hinted to my mom. After a few "tests" she kind of nodded. It seemed to bother her. I think it was best not to bring it up sooner.

Dragonmom - I read on your info that you seem to be more sensitive at some times more than at other times. For me, I'm my most sensitive when stressed or in danger. Eating popcorn, watching a movie, I'm not very alert. When my daughter is 800 miles away and messing up, even though I don't know it, will suddenly start getting alert. Enjoy the down time. During those times, I like to just walk in crowds and let myself feel what I think they are thinking about and open up. Resting time.
