I'm A Psychopomp

I seem to have the ability to counsel souls and lead them out of the Parallel (Purgatory, Limbo, Gehennah, the "middle dimension," the "Gray Area" of the afterlife) and into their destined eternity, whether that be the Light or Dark.

I have done this many times and never actually gave it much thought. I have done it by projecting myself into the Parallel which I began doing at a relatively young age and speaking to the dead souls directly - many of which are suicides, murders, or people angry with G-d. I have done it through using a Ouija board (I know how to use one, fear not) recently, with the help of my invisible friend Tommy. I've done it by walking in my sleep to Earthly places where souls were waiting for me.

I recently actually saw the door in a gray room in the Parallel in which souls destined for the Light travel through to Heaven. It was beautiful. I have yet to see the doorway into the Dark, but I do know that the souls who I've helped find their way into the Dark made it very clear that it's where THEY wanted to go.

I'm not actually calling myself a real psycho-pomp, but I deem it accurately descriptive to my capabilities/experiences.

I am fine with this ability, but I would like to learn more about it and why I have it.

Thank you =)
While in the Parallel, I have also met Lilith and many "demons" who have actually shown me my way around the place. All religious terminology from ANY religion usually adds up with what I have seen, which brings me comfort, because I'm Jewish and it doesn't conflict with my "job."

ME I don't think it necessary for you or your psychopomp work, Haildizzy, to change your religious terms. It is just names, a system of speech. If you saw souls go through the door into the Light you call this Light Heaven if you are Christian, and by other names if you are of another faith. The fact that remains is you helped the souls over. God bless you for more of this good work!

I don't see "Heaven" and "Hell" in the traditional or Christian sense, as I'm not Christian. I never think of Heaven and Hell when I astral travel; I only think of what I see. My religion says very little of the afterlife and therefore I am able to see clearly.

In terms of heaven and hell, it all depends on how you perceive these places to be like.

Try next time you astral travel, think of no heaven or hell. This might get you a clearer picture of how the real spiritual world is like without any outside influences from your belief system.

That is interesting, I've never heard it called Verse; then again, the inhabitants always just said "Parallel" when I asked.
I guess it makes me feel okay. I don't really feel like I've done anything great, although it is great that the spirits get to be at peace. I guess it's just because I'm helping them do something they were meant to do all along.

Mhm. I never did get the spirit incarnation system... All I knew was that Spirit goes in, Human comes out o_o. And then there's Verse where spirits lurk around, and I think Verse is what you refer to as the "Middle World". I've been in Verse many times, but never really helped a spirit. How does it make you feel when you help them? Maybe it was your "Destiny" to help them?
