Darkness that is light is what Talim ability in one sense it is neither dark but at the same time it is not light either. It is not blending of the two where it becomes grey either. Talim is probably a guardian of souls something to similar to the Akashic Records

Dea ability is that of water but it seems more like pools of energy that gather and can be released to heal a soul, mind, and body. I cannot see her ability that well.

ok, this is creeping me out, because my spirit guide, whos name is Avan, told me that I am destined for great things also, and my friends. Me and four other of my friends she said were part of an orginization, like you. Except, we are called the "the chosen ones" each chosen one is supposed to represent each of the four elements, and the final chosen one, the leader of the group, is the element of time and spirit. I am the leader of the group. We have to talk sometime! =)
