20% Psychic?

I am twenty years of age.

First I will explain my story, and then pose my question.

Ever since I can remember, I have had "vibes" from people/places/events. If someone's presence made me uncomfortable (I can never pinpoint why) I generally move away and avoid contact. Later in time, I learn how this particular person caused great grief to others/generally did something that upset someone, which could have been me had I not moved away.

Similarly, I Can somehow confirm if something is going to happen or not. Recently my vacations got postponed and I knew they would. As I knew the last 4 times they got postponed.

I also get positive or very negative vibes from LOCATIONS, like I chose my current university because of the positive vibes I got from it, although I had much better options.

Due to the enormous number of times I have been right and things turned out in my favor when I relied on these vibes, I now always trust my gut instinct. It is right most of the times.

My story is complete.

My question is what is it. Please explain. I am not a psychic/medium; I have never experienced any paranormal events or encountered any being AT ALL. People I know who have encountered other beings can feel a certain pressure on their shoulders/tongue if there is such a presence in the room, but I have never had any experience of the sort, even while being in the same room.

But this gut feeling and an ability to predict the future quite accurately is scary. Please help me figure this out. Thank you.

Dear zsecho
Yes you are just a medium with a specific ability.

You have a hypersensitive intuition and sense of precognition. Also your "vibes" from buildings may indicate psychometry as well. Feel free to email me with anymore questions at hecatesmagicspell [at]

Your brain may be hypersensitive, if you read through this forum there are loads of posts of people claiming they "know" how people feel towards them before even speaking to them, and to a degree there probably right, your brain receives thousands of stimuli every day and its it job to turn that into useful information. I consider myself relatively logical, yet I'm still trying to fully understand what I can do, the most rational way to explain what you are doing is your brain is picking up tiny microscopic signals and turning it into useful information, these signals are so small that your conscious is missing or ignoring them. Take someone frowning, there body language suggests aggression, anger, frustration this is obvious to most, what if someone is expressionless or putting on a fake smile? What if your brain is capable of spotting the tiniest signals and interprets that into a "vibe" whether it be positive or negative. Its works with locations and situations as well, most people would find the dark boarded up house creepy, whereas a church the opposite, what if your brain is picking up tiny details from locations and developing a "feeling" from them?. Others will disagree with me, but I don't see this being paranormal or Psychic, your sub conscious is finely tuned to pick up things the conscious part misses and because the information isn't picked up the conscious the brain gives you a "feeling" or "vibe" as the result of the information.
