Lummas is also know as Lughdassah, but I can't really pronunce that, and I'm not even sure id I spelled it right XD

It's a celebration for the corn god and the harvest goddess (I'm going to celebrate Demeter)
It's basically just a pagan thanksgiving in a way.

Ghostgirl I see wicca and witchcraft as the way of magic. Not really as a religion but the way of life that all humans should be a part of to advance in this life.
I have a very keen interest in Luciferian magic though ❤

Unfortunately I am not aware of Lummas. Can you shed some light on this being please.

I know of Ba'al-god of the harvest.

Ooh, very good advice. That would be an easy way to trick them into thinking I'm sleeping... I wish my parents would believe in this stuff though. They think it's all fake. It stinks for me because I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place in this family. 😢

You're welcome XD

Hey Rash, I noticed you said in a post that you were starting some wiccan stuff. Are you making this your religoion, or just doing some of the Craft. Cause if you're making it a religon, just thought I'd let you know that Lummas is next sunday (august 1st) Yay for the harvest god!

'For those of you whom live with people around whom it may be difficult to meditate, you can lie down on the bed and close your eyes. That way, if you are disturbed, they'll just think you're having a rest'

That is an excellent idea for birdzgoboom❤.

Thanks for the info ghostgirl. I did not know about that 😊

So right Rash XD

Lucifer is just religious paranoia XD We give things power. If we fear a demon, the demon becomes fear-inducing, but if we don't, well, he's nothing right? It's all perspective XD

Oh, and you guys may not know this, but it is also said that if you leave a mirror facing a door or window opens up portals between our world and the spirit world, giving them an open invite to your place. So, no mirror in facing door/window. You don't know what's going to come in XD

To answer questions about meditation:

I do not think that you need to sit in the lotus position to meditate. As someone already said, you can meditate anytime, anywhere. For those of you whom live with people around whom it may be difficult to meditate, you can lie down on the bed and close your eyes. That way, if you are disturbed, they'll just think you're having a rest. ^^ All you need to do to meditate is to just be comfortable, and keep bringing your mind back to the original thought/image/etc everytime it wanders (and it will). You don't have to clear your mind of all thoughts, that is for the highly advanced. All you have to do is focus it on one thing, which is challenging enough. Keep practicing and you will get there.

Re. Mirrors: I do not think that mirrors are portals. There have been times in the past when I was afraid of looking into them, because I do think that they can be used as tools to see things that cannot normally be seen.

Midnight
'Mirrors are portals to the land of the dead. So you can see any spirit of the deceased in the mirror.'

By this statement I did not mean that you knew the spirit. You do not necessarily have to know the spirit.

Please reread my last post

But I didn't know that spirit! And I didn't summon upon any spirits! He just popped up out of no where while I was combing my hair! What should I do about this?

The spirit that you saw in the mirror does not merely have been the spirit of someone who died in your house per say.

Mirrors are portals to the land of the dead. So you can see any spirit of the deceased in the mirror.

It is safer though to call upon a familiar spirit. You know one that you know.

I've got to say that ability you have is pretty special and that not a lot of people can handle it! But I was just curious about whether or not you could see the spirit of someone beyond the looking glass? Because once I was combing my hair and looking into the mirror. But someone else's reflection popped up! I was just wondering what this could mean? And no one has ever died in my house for at least 20 years. So I was wondering if you could tell me how it is possible to see a spirit of a deceased person through the mirror?

Yes you can but it is important that you sit in the lotus position because it allows the body and mind to stay in complete equilibrium, removing discursive thoughts and facilitating blood circulation. It allows the body to remain soft yet able to endure hardships.

If you must however do it in the bath please try not to fall asleep 😊

You can Meditate anywhere. In any position.
To answer you question yes you can. And a bath will help calm your energies so meditation would be easier in the bath.

I wish I was allowed to go outside of my home. My parents are the kind of parents that won't let me out of their sight even for a minute... Awkward question: Could I possibly meditate while in the bath? That's the only time I'm not distracted. 😕

Honey you can find a place outside of your home to meditate. It does not necessarily means that you have to meditate at home.

Just be sure that the place has no distractions ❤

Thank you again! I've never known how to meditate... Hopefully my parents can leave me alone long enough for me to try this out. 😐

Developing these psychic abilities may take long for some and short for others. It depends on how in tuned a person is.

For beginners in the discipline of meditation:
(1) Start off doing exercises that will relax your energies before actually starting meditation. For example prepare a bath and relax in it or do some stretching exercises or yoga. You can even try some aromatherapy if that relaxes you also.

(2) Sit in the infamous lotus position and try your utmost best to clear your mind. This is hard to do but with much daily practise you will improve 😊
This technique is the first step to develop your focus in anything you do physically and spiritually.

Okay, thank you for explaining that. How long do you believe I should meditate?... And how do you meditate? I've never done that before...

From the Encarta Dictionaries the word 'focus' means concentrated effort or attention on a particular thing or an area of concern.

You are right about using your third because it is your spiritual eyes.

If you have problems focusing try a strict regime of daily meditations. As soon as you finish each session try focusing on a mirror and call upon your spirit guides.

Thank you for telling me that! How exactly do I "focus my energy on them more"? Do I focus on my third eye or something...? 😕
Rashidah (guest)

That is right birdzgoboom.
You are seeing entities from other dimensions that parallel ours. Try focusing your energies on them more. You will be eventually be able to see them more vivid. Meditation will also help with this.

I submitted another part to this expereince. When it is posted you will read more on how to do this ❤

Is that why I can see things in mirrors? I never knew that they were said to be portals into the Spirit World... But the spirits are more fuzzy and foggy unlike how you can see the whole spirit.

dragonflies

Lucifer means the light bearer. It is a latin name.
In Roman times he was worshipped as the god of light and wisdom.
People from world over use to come to his temples for knowledge until the arrival of the still fairly new christian religion which demonized him and other gods of ancients like Shiva, Krishna, Kali, Aries and so forth.

I am very aware of the crap attacthed to his name. But when you do historucal research you will find out that it is just superstition.

Even on this site I read ridiculous stories about him. It is just demonic paranoia. When people give into fear it is a very sad thing.

Here read this link and I thank you for your post ❤

Well again it's just a?... I just didn't know if there was a specific reason, and I guess with all the muck that is associated with Lucifer I would have thought you wouldn't want to contact him... I guess if I had the ability to contact spirits I would want to contact ones that could help me or ones of light as opposed to ones of dark and negativity or demons. What is the purpose of communicating with him? I can't imagine he is willing to help you in anyway... So even if he contacts you do you not have the ability to deny communication with him? How does that work? I guess I am trying to ask if he contacts you do you have to respond?

He contacted me and why not?
Why do some contact Hecate, why do some contact the Goddess Diana, why do some contact Persephone?

I am curious as to why you would contact Lucifer? Out of all the other spirits you could contact, why him?
