Flowers In The Night

My mother called me this morning as she was upset with a recent event that had just happened. My mother lives alone and often tells me of strong psychic feelings she has on many houses, places people and things and has had some strange things happen over the years. Yesterday, it was her birthday which she spent alone as we live in different cities. When I called my mother she was happy and had thanked me for the presents that I had sent her. My mother had planned to have a nice day out and was in a good mood. All went well and she had a nice day as I had called her later to have a chat. Normally my mother does not sleep that well, but on this night she slept straight for eight hours something that she does not rarely do. But when she awoke in the morning she looked beside her bed to find some small orange flowers that had been placed there. My mother lives alone and she did not have or has had any orange flowers in her house, nor did she have any visitors that would have left them. It has made her feel very uneasy and yet she cannot throw the flowers out but still feels very unsettled about who placed them there. At different times she also smells an old style perfume but it is not one she recognizes. What is going on?

I suggested she write a note and leave it out. But once before she did this at an old historic place we stayed at in Tasmania while on holiday as she felt something or someones presence in the room. But in the middle of the night things went flying in the room with doors opening and shutting, obviously someone or something was not happy. So my mother feels she does not want to write a note this time around.
