4yr Old Seeing Red Glitter?

my little boy is 4+half and for the past year he has said he can see red glitter at bed times.

He says it keeps him awake and he can see shapes and just over the past few nights hes said he can see faces all in red glitter and when he describes it to me both times its been 2 different faces.

1 night he said it was a lady with short red spiky hair and she was making a weird face like blowing her cheeks in+out and wore black glasses and she scared him, he was genuinely scared when he shouted me from his bed. (when he explained it turned out he was describing one of his dinner ladies from school)

And tonight he said it was a man with short red spiky hair and wearing black glasses (when he explained it turned out to be 'little cook small' off the tv program big cook little cook off cbeebies) but he was scared by it.

He says the red glitter flies around all over his bedroom and makes shapes all different ones and sometimes helicopter shapes...

I really don't know what to think but after googling I found this site and thought its worth asking to see if anyone has had this or knows anything about it?

At 1st we just thought he was being a menace and messing around at bed times and thinking of excuses to come downstairs which we havn't let him do in the whole year so I kind of think it could be something a bit more?

Really hope that someone can help and give me some advice as I'm kind of worried about it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Xx

I'm reading this for the first time and your then toddler is the same age as my youngest... They're both mid teens. It's 9/12/22. I've been seeing red glitter for a few days and I'm seeing different images. I did a search and this popped up. Figured I would give it a hi how are you...

Whenever I was little I saw red dots every night, I used to call them 'red flies', but they never seemed to make shapes so I don't know if that's what he is seeing... I don't know why I saw them but I don't think they we're ghosts or anything like that. I think its normal for children. I used to see them when I was really tired.

Hope I helped at least a little.

Do Not Worry! The spirt is probly just a playful ghost. Aslong as it does not harm your son its fine. The ghost your son is seeing might be a gift your son has or might be from a relative. If it is really disturbing to your son you might want to try talking to it by useing a Ouja Board. Ask it some basic question such as "Yes or No" questions such as Are you a girl? Are you a boy? Then try to get on the harder ones such as "Why are you here?". But really I think the spirt is a protective ghost. If you want to contact me I'm at alan_yu2000 [at] hotmail.com

I think you are describing what I first saw at 5 years old. I describe them as floating and dancing glowing dots. Red was the dominate color but there were a couple that followed. I would be a sleep and then these dots would wake me and dance around my room... And try to engage me. I was confused and thought I was just too sleepy. I didn't tell anyone for months. You are very lucky that your child is sharing with you and I'm so happy you are researching and taking him serious. It's very real. When I was little and thought I was just sleepy and would roll over to go to sleep they would bounce on my bed and tuck around me like a cat trying to pat before bedding down. After a couple months of trying to ignore them one night they woke me up and I saw pictures and really short quick "movies" that formed in them. It traumatized me that night because it was telling me about the death of a family member... I was scared to death. But they are still with me to this day and I'm almost 40yrs old. I don't know what they are. I question if it is spirit energy etc... But I don't think so. It's a total different feeling. They've never scared me... Even when I was 5 years old. They were playful then. I don't see them very often anymore but they still show up... I think they protect me and prepare me somehow. But I don't know what they are. But they are very real. When I was little they woke me up all the time... They would just dance around and want to play with me. It's odd I know that now. But they never scared me. I'm so glad you believe your child...xxoo!

A common theme I see in these visions he has of people and the glitter design is red. What does red represent? I looked a little on the internet and this is what I found related to the meaning of the color red: "...look at me I'm on fire..." This could mean your son has a beautifully strong personality describing fire almost. He could be a man of inspiration, and dedication to a purpose. Also Mars is red, and Mars is a God of war. This doesn't mean that he would necessarily go to war or that he has a tendancy to fight. It could mean that he has potential aggression that is powerful and can potentially be aimed at helping others. Solving problems. Eric the Red.

That he sees sparkles as a constant theme that can introduce new and fluxuating elements (the faces, the people) is almost like a guide. If your son where to be psychically inclined, meaning that he can recieve messages from other places and that he can be communicated to by perhaps long lost friends that were before he was born, he could know who he is more. Sparkles are like a party. They reflect light but are not the light. They are for celebration. And I think that celebration means a lot to him.

For this purpose be sensitive to his need to express himself and celebrate as this can be a serious teaching tool that will enable him to know who he is, access latent energies and fix things that need fixing. If you let him celebrate in creative and safe ways he may have more faith in people in the future and be able to connect to them better.

Another theme I see is spiky hair. This can describe a personal taste for creative expression. Perhaps when he's a teen be weary of his creativity for it may even surpass your own and he may need understanding and grown up wisdom to complete his mission. 😆 ❤

Hiya worried mum, well I have recently tooo been experiencing wot can be described as tingly red sparkley lights as I go to sleep, can yu amke sure his room has no light coming into it, get a blackout curtain. Hang garlic or nettles under the bed, make a joke about it, recite prayers, I have left a few on my postscript, as things always happen to me at fullmoon, its the time for things to rise up, If your in an old house, might be a good idea, to put glasses of water with flowers in each corner, also have a nitelight burning in the room, or keep a small light on for the duration of his sleep... Get a cat or a dog, or a pet to sleep in the room, all ideas. Mostly don't let him watch vivid moviews, eat chocolate or cheese before sleep, and help him, by tellin g him to tell the mosnters to go away... Even grown ups have to dothis, some fears just won't settle, until yu tell them, yu won't have it anymore!. 😕

I just stumbled across your story, and I would like to reassure you that you have absolutley nothing to worry about, what your little boy is describing is exactly what I remember experiencing as a child (roughly same age). It lasted until I was about 5/6, and I remember being absolutely petrified on occasions. I clearly remember watching this (energy?) morph into a 'knome' like being who danced around my room pulling faces at me for hours. When I look back, I don't think it was anything sinister or evil, it's just like their bored and want someone to notice them! If your lad is psychic, then maybe at such a young age, his mind can't comprehend what is happening to him, and thus manifests in strange colourful apparitions. A childs imagination doesn't help either! I'm sure this experience will gradually fade, but his psychic powers may manifest in other ways as he matures, and learns about the world. I'm not sure of your beleifs, but I would recomend teaching him about his guardian angel or guide, something he can ask for protection when he gets scared, and to keep away malicious entities.

it may be something I'm not sure ill just go by personal experience.

When I was 6-7 I was in the bath and I saw this woman wearing a red/pink glittery dress walk into my sisters bedroom very slow and I called my sisters name and my mums but no one answered, I got out the bath, peeked in her bedroom and no one was there and I was soo frightened I sprinted downstairs with nothing on. I'm now 16 and I have met a medium who is about 71 and she said my sister has an angel around her that wears a red/pink dress. So obviously I saw her angel walk into her bedroom... But ever since I havnt really seen stuff physically like that but as I aged I dream things so there could be a chance that it will either pass as he ages or he will has psychic abilities like clairvoyance?

Sorry if I'm no help, but I'm sure there'll be more experienced people on this site that will help you:)
