I am very interested in your bad spirits you call "hunters" what more can you tell me about them?

How do I begin to speak to the spirits? Or find out their names?

Well I think what you saw was a bad spirit called a haunter. Don't ask I can't explain it its just a title I gave it.
Experience I've had myself because you mentioned dead lizards.

The way spirts can attack are by manipulating energy around them. I know this because I have been attacked by them. They can also protect the same way. I suggest you find out what that guys name is so you can call upon him. I don't understand the dead lizards but it may link to either the way the shadows died or what they look like. Hope my information has helped. ^^

Interesting, this reminds me of the show "A haunting". Ghosts/Spirits/Specters are VERY interesting and unpredictable.

I do not sense that this is a spirit attack but a premonition/vision being sent to you. It seems that someone had died opening a package which contained a bomb and this had bruised their arms and face, hence the bruises on your arms and face when you awoke. I suggest researching this further. Begin in cities or countries where they have those same lizards.

Thank-you all for the advise. No, nothing tragic has happened in our lives this all started to happen when I began doing research on my family tree. I felt I was being warned to stop. I thought it may have had to do with a charm I found of my late grandfathers that I brought into the house. I have since blessed it and as recommended have bibles, crystals and gems of sorts all around my house and bed and have taken up nightly prayers. I just don't understand what they want or why we are being protected. Since the man I see by my bed at night has appeared nothing has happened. But every time I approach or attempt to talk to him he disappears. How do communicate with spirits?

Yes, upper level spirits can harm as well as some others. Other spirits, guardian angels do protect as well. Been going through some things myself. My house was supposed to be blessed and we all end up getting sick, go figure. We have also woken up with marks on our bodies which were unexplainable. I have many Bible's in my home which I put around our beds, some I've even gotten from the library. Pray from your heart to show your faith in your loving God and ask for protection. Saint Michael prayer is good, as well as saying the Lord's prayer. Show no fear, I know easier said than done at times, however, this is important. We also hear things slamming loudly around at times. They try to frighten you, for your fear feeds them which in return gives them more power. Find something to comfort you, prayer is my comfort; anything to relieve the fear quickly. When they make loud noises and such, speak firmly and tell them they need to stop. I do this at times and they actually listen to me. Since you are seeing more than one, your problems may be worst than mine. Search the internet and seek professionals in your area to help remove the spirits, they normally don't charge anything. Also, ask God, if have same belief, to surround you and your family with his heavenly white light and also to surround you with the hedge as he did for Job keeping it locked so that nothing can breach through it causing you any harm. Evil does fear God.

to sloan7, your "floatin experience may have bee nwhat doctors call a hypnagogic jerk, I have done some research after experiencing a few myself. Its jsut a state of totall calm that replaces when you wake up from a extremely pleasent, or extremely unpleasent dream or thought.

I've had a few strange experiences with what I took to be "little people" attacking me while I was sleeping...

I would feel clawed pokes & prods, but couldn't seem to move or fend them off. I frequently dreamt of being stabbed, and woke up with the same pain I had dreamt of. Sometimes I would wake up IN MID-AIR, then fall to the mattress, squealing.

The next day- I covered my bed in protective amulets & things said to ward off evil. I haven't been attacked since.

Initially I feel that you need to disperse the bad entities before trying to reach/ understand the " good " one (s).
I would invoke a prayer to The Archangel Michael, who is chief protector, asking for his service to you, to promote the invoccation his favoured gemstone is a carbuncle and his oil is angelica oil, this incidently is also used in excorcisms, so would be a good investment anyway. As protection for you, drop a few drops onto a piece of cotton wool and place under yours and your daughters pillows and sprinkle the oil around your bed and where you think you saw the spirit which threatened you.
Pray to Michael and wish his protection upon you each evening. A friend of mine had a similar experience... The entity hasn't been back since.
Oh, I gave her an orgonite pyramid which she keeps under her bed too, this will help you also, if you can get hold of one.
