The Dream, I've Never Had One Like It

If you have read some of my other stories you will know that sometimes my dreams predict the future, and that I can tell which ones they are because they have a certain feeling. Well, a few nights ago I had a dream that felt like it was a prediction but it was different somehow, like heavier.

I dreamed I was running in this enormous flowery clearing in the middle of a forest. It was a bright sunny day and the birds were singing and the flowers all smelled lovely. I could feel the sun on my back and it all seemed so real, so lovely. There was a huge tree house, which I climbed up into to have a look around. There were several barrels up against the wall and sitting on them was a young girl about my age. She was beautiful, really really beautiful. I went over to talk to her, and she took my wrist and held it so that she could see my palm. She said, "Do wrong twenty-four times and there will be calamity. Lie seven times and there will be chaos." I looked at my palm and then up at her, and she's not young anymore. It's an old woman who has a hold of my arm. And suddenly I'm back on the ground, amid the flowers and the birds and all that.

I really need some help with this. In the past my dream predictions have been all about symbolism, one thing representing another. Never have I actually been handed the message. And what kind of message is it anyway? What was that supposed to mean?

I really have no idea what to think and I was just wondering if anyone could help me.

I agree with Deepcity and Bluehoodedmisery.

Go through your dream again. Try all sorts of symbolic meanings. But also, since this dream is different, (it seems to be, and the way that you explain the heaviness of it, and may be more direct than your previos dreams, think about it literally too.

I also have an experiment for you. Imagine for a moment that this lady is real. Perhaps she is the dream embodiment of your prominitions or something... No matter what you may think she is, take into concideration that she might be real (as this is a more direct sort of dream) maybe trying to contact her could help?

I would love to hear more from you:)

dear whisper,
I'm not really clear on what you are asking in a lot of your post, so I'm sorry if I leave something out.
I am fourteen (fifteen in a month) and it's kind of hard to explain how I tell which dreams are predictions. See, I have synesthesia, which means that I see colors when music is playing because my senses are intermingled. So my dreams have tastes and textures and I can recognise when they are different. When I said that this one was heavier, think of it this way.
You know someone whose mother wears perfume, and every time you talk to this person you smell a faint whiff of perfume. Then, one day the person puts the perfume on themselves and when you talk to them the smell is much stronger, closer, and more powerful.
I know it's not a good metaphor, sorry it's the best I could come up with.
Have I had any dreams that seemed really scary or realistic? Well, actually now that you mention it, yes.
I had a dream where I was throwing away the fourth of july fireworks, and one of them caught fire and sparks flew all over the kitchen. I screamed, "Mom! Fire in the kitchen! Call 911!" and she called back that I needed to stop telling stories. Meanwhile, things were catching fire and I could actually feel the heat. Then the fire got worse and spread and I just barely got out, and when I did escape the police arrested me for arson.
The other dream was when I dreamed I was backstage at this theater in town and I had accidentially wandered into this room where people were does some kind of experiment and when they saw me they were coming after me with daggers and when they caught me they were going to mess with my memory because I was a threat to what they were doing. Here's the freaky part: when they caught me my hand got cut along the back and it hurt really badly and that's what woke me up. When I woke up my hand was fine, but when I went outside to feed my pet rabbits I cut it on a sharp wire that was coming lose from one of the hutches, and it made a cut exactly like the one in the dream. Freaky, right?
So, anyway, if you had any other questions I missed them, sorry but I had a lot of trouble reading your writing. Anyway, thanks for commention and I hope this helps.

Well, I am Not crying lol! But When I read 'Do wrong 24 times and there'll be calamity or lie 7 times and there'll be choas'. I automatically felt like it was talking to me too! And I am now feeling like I am getting the consiquinces. How can I pool it back together?
What did it mean for you? How Old Are you? (If you don't mind me asking)
Also, When you said 'your dream felt like a prediction but heavier' What is the difference and how can I learn to tell mine apart like that?
WEll, there hasn't been a riot at Meijers yet! SO I guess that dream I had was a prediction. But that one kind of felt more realistic.
AND,,, Have you had any dreams that seemed really scary when you are in them but then when you are awake you laugh at them! OR Have you had reaccuring dreams of a certain building and the same events occur only in different ways? I am confused on how to seperate my dreams!

😕

when I read this story, I actually got a feeling in the pit of my stomach. Like a bad feeling. Be careful and listen to the girl/woman's advice from your dream. Count your words, if you know what I mean. And if there are other things in the dream, like little things that happened that kind of caught your eye, remember them too and try to interpret them. Interpret every symbol from the dream: the tree house, the flowers, what kind of flowers they were, the woman/girl, your hand, the colors of everything around you. Every detail. You can try looking up what they mean on www.dreammoods.com

And like I said, please be careful.

wow that's werid that you were both crying because when I woke up I was actually crying, too!
Of course I just put it down to it being allergy season for me and how much my nose had been running, but if it happened to you too...
I hope I can figure this out. Thanks for your help.

Hi AuroraRose, it's weird what kelsijohnson said because I cried too while reading it. I don't know what this means, but it's an attention-grabber, that's for sure. Maybe try extra hard to remember your next dream, you might get another message. 😊
