I've had several experiences in my life that some might classify as psychic, most come to me while I'm asleep but a few actually come to me as "visions" while I'm wide awake, the following story is one of the latter.
A few years ago while on the job performing some routine I.T. Functions on a customer's laptop I was sitting at his desk waiting for a process to complete when I noticed the one and only picture on his desk. It was of a young woman I'd never met and I assumed it was his wife. I asked him about the picture and he confirmed it was his wife but he didn't reveal her name, he's a very private and unassuming man. As I looked at the picture I felt as if it was speaking to me, telling me a story if you will. I started to ask my client some questions and he was amazed at what I could tell just by looking at her picture.
The first thing that came to me was her name was Jill, which the client confirmed. I also asked if her appearance was different now and he said the photo was almost two years old and that she had changed her appearance slightly. I then asked if she was pregnant now and in a hushed voice he admitted she was and that they just found out a few weeks ago but were keeping it quiet. I told him that she was going to have a girl and even though it was too early to tell a few months later he went public in the office with the announcement that he and his wife were expecting a baby girl.
Unfortunately, for the remainder of my time in that office he avoided me. I can only guess it's because I could tell so much about his personal life with just a viewing of a picture. I've noticed people treat you differently once you decide to share a "vision" with them. Some are apprehensive toward you while other are into avoidance.
The experience of looking at someone's picture and "hearing" their story is not new to me. As a youth I could look at the picture of a missing person and tell you if they were alive or dead. I still do that with missing persons in the newspaper and while it takes time for a result I've not been wrong yet, of course, the jury is still out on a few people.
My client and his wife and daughter are currently happy and healthy and he has moved on to another assignment as have I.
Before I start relating a psychic message to a stranger, which might offend or upset them, I ask them how they feel about intuition or psychic abilities. If they respond in a negative manner I keep the info to myself- if they are receptive I venture further and relate to them the "feelings" I am having. Some people do not take kindly to psychics and might attempt to harm them in some way- possibly by discrediting them with their employer. Some people may not want to know what a psychic senses at all. Others, as yve72 pointed out, will want you to do a reading for them.
