Soul Sucking Entity?

The other night I had a dream, it wasn't your average dream because I could feel my soul being sucked out of me. I was walking down the hallway and I heard a commotion outside of my house. I looked out the front door, and floating (not standing) in the middle of the road was a black cloak with no one inside of it. All of a sudden the cloak shriveled up onto the road and what floated away was what looked like a translucent ghost like image (the ghosts you see at Halloween when little kids are hiding underneath a white sheet). I thought nothing of it, so I went back inside my house and started to wash dishes.

Awhile later my mom yelled at me to come into the living room and take a look at what was outside my window. Outside of my window was the translucent image with a tiny grin on it's face. Then out of nowhere I charged at the window, and all of a sudden I could hear my mom yelling "noooo don't go!" as everything went into a sort of slow motion/time freeze as I could feel my soul (or at least that's what I think it was) being sucked out of me. I could see the shadow of my face leaving my body and as everything started to go blurry I could see my image going into "its" mouth.

As I kept going on with my day, every now and then this "ghost" would pop up out of nowhere and try to suck my soul. Each time I somehow keep freeing myself and I hit the floor face first as it releases me.

Please help me! I'm only 14 and I'm really scared if this is something that I should be worrying about.

It was EXACTLY like the dementors off Harry Potter! Except this "thing" had eyes.

You should never touch an entity you don't know. It could take your soul.

If your really scared about this entity, you should tell someone you trust about it. See what your parents can do to try and help you. You never know what your parents could know about this entity. The entity might be something that your family has seen before too. If they're not sure, then ask them about getting professional help.
Good luck and may God Bless You

What you should do is if you see this ghost in real
Life/dream (s) show no fear and stay away from it. On a lighter note, I know that this sounds a bit crazy, but it sounds kind of like a dementor. (dementors are soul suckers in Harry Potter without eyes)
Furthermore I wish you Luck and Safety:)

What you are probably dealing with is an astral vampire (an interdimensional being). From what I know they feed off of consciousness, and being scared is the worst thing you can do. Anyone with knowledge or questions on this topic is encouraged to contact me: ayveanguard [at]

Dear shutout,

The "thing" I saw in my dream was translucent. I was able to see an outline of it, it actually looked kind of like a human but not exactly, it looked as if someone threw a sheet over it. Also, the area of which it's eyes would have been were hollowed out. Lastly, when it started to "suck my soul" it opened it's mouth and from what I could see inside were razor sharp teeth.

Hello Mickey125,

This is going to sound really weird, scary, or just plain funny, but have you tried to give this entity a hug? Before I get reprimanded for giving "nonsense advice", hear this out.

The "hug the entity" technique actually comes from Stephen LaBerge in one of his lucid dreaming books (both might be good reading material for you). In one part, LaBerge mentions he was dreaming and ran into a "bully" that used to bother him in school. Well, the bully was doing the same in his dream. If I recall correctly, he either gave it a hug, or told it that it was a part of his imagination. Both of which led to the same outcome: LaBerge no longer feared the image in his dream.

If this ghost in your dreams is an entity, see it as more of a bully. When you fear it, it gives the ghost more power over you. If you show it love, affection, or even just ignoring it, this let's the entity know you don't fear it, and it might move on.

Finally, I wouldn't worry too much about it, because sometimes people just have a bad dream. If it happens more than once, or you start to see this "ghost" from your dreams in waking life, then you may want to look into learning shielding.

I don't know if this works for all evil spirits, or whatever this may be, but try not to show fear. I would be very scared if this was happening to me, too. But fear is usually what these things want. It's like it's a snack for them. Then again, this could be entirely different.

I've never had expeirince with this you should practice sheilding and if at all possible avoid it, I used to be somewhat of a concious dreamer that and I always knew what would happen, all I have to say is be careful could you describe what it looks like please

You create it yourself. For me, when it comes I realize how it originated through incidents of my day. From conversations or things I read. When it comes for me it's something I have no fear for. I reach through the window and grab them by the throat now. I instantly wake up when they panick. The last thing they want me to understand is how much stronger I am over them when I'm inside of my body. I have taught myself to see them right away. Even when they are pretending to be a loved one.

hi Mickey125
What I would suggest for you is to try and get some info on how to control your dreams while you are in them, I'm no expert on dreams but I'm actually concious in my own dreams and can control what happens in them, What I mean by this is that I know I'm asleep and dreaming but somehow I seem to be able to control my dreams while in them. SO I think you can change the outcome of them. Hopefully this helps.
Love and light
