Strange Abilities Developing?

Recently I have discovered that that I can do things that I didn't normally be able to do. For example, since about 3 weeks ago I have acquired a more acute sense of awareness of what's around me. I was walking to my car at around 11 om and suddenly I had the urge that something was behind me and surely there was an animal of some sort staring at me. I couldn't tell what it was as it was dark, however, it was about as big as a get man shepard. I quickly got in my car and left but ever since then I can tell when something or someone is getting near me. I have also become able to catch things thrown at me without me knowing that they were coming. I don't know if this relates but I also seem to know things about evil spirits and demons since I had that encounter. Please help me try to figure out what's happening because I feel like what ever happened I am supposed to do something. I tried to talk to one of my friends about my awareness but they all seem to think I got lucky and am suddenly perfect for sports. I told them about the animal and they just said that it was dark and I was seeing things. I don't believe this as I could smell it from 5 feet away and it smelled like vomit. I'm not sure what I experienced but I believe that I am just barely breaking the surface of crazy because now even as I type this I feel something watching me waiting for me to make a mistake and it honestly scares me. I have put up a couple defenses against possession by clearing my mind and carrying a vial of Holy water but I feel like it isn't enough. Please help me.
