I see and communicate with dead people. I have two spirit guides. Cynthia Grace, a 12 year old girl who passed away back in 2012,

And Betty Louise, a 90 year old woman who passed away in 2014.

I see them physically as little balls of light. They usually visit me in the evenings. They show themselves and " talk " to me in my thoughts. They have both shown me explicit details of their lives.

At first I thought I was going nuts until I did a Bing search on both names and details they communicated to me. I was shocked.

I found obituaries for both. This made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and gave me goosebumps all over my body.

This is all new to me. It started just three weeks ago.

My grandma who passed away back in 2011 has been "talking" to me in my dreams too.

I feel like Monica the Medium or Theresa the Long Island Medium. Monica and Theresa sea always use the term "Spirit" is doing the communicating to them. I asked Betty Louise about "Spirit" and she showed me the HOLY GHOST. She also referred to herself as a guide." Spirit Guide".

Betty Louise and Cynthia Grace don't talk to me. I don't hear voices. (I'm not that crazy). They communicate with me through thoughts, feelings, smells or vivid images.

Sometimes it's a combination of all four. Thoughts, feelings, smells and images. It's kind of hard to explain.

Sometimes it's just knowing something that I wouldn't normally have known.

I do not understand. I have never claimed to have had psychic experiences in the past. I have never been empathic.

Why me? Am I schizophrenic? Am I delusional?

Why now? I am 47 years old. Most people who claim to have this "Gift" claim to have had it since childhood. I am a bit confused.

At first I was a little spooked and afraid of this. But now I have almost come to the point of acceptance. In a way it's kind of cool.

As for now I can not control when I am able to communicate with Cynthia Grace. She comes and goes as she pleases.

Betty Louise is more available and responsive. She visits more frequently.

How do I get them to "talk" to me at my beck and call?

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

We have the same experiences! I also have a spirit guide and we also communicate through thoughts,mind,feelings and vivid images! He has been protecting me since I was 5,personally I think he is cute and such a boyfriend material;)

It is your choice and your choice alone to be doomed with this or destined with this.
You have a gift. Not everyone has it early some surface later. Everyone is different when it comes to these things.
As for communication try using a pendulum. It doesn't have to be fancy try a necklace of some sort if necessary.
I've had good experiences with pendulums I always recommend them.
Runes are also useful.

No, I've had all kind of abilities and got in trouble all the time as a kid if I plopped something out I shouldn't know. Children learn to squash these abilities if they don't want their loving parents to send them to the funny farm. LOL It becomes a habit and we don't even think about how we know what we know or sometimes are able to do things others don't. We cover it up and make excuses if questioned, etc. My saving grace was the lie thing. I just knew certain things were a lie and grownups proved to me they were great big shadowy fibbers. Finally, we have the internet, where one can glean all sorts of information which wasn't readily available before. We don't practice or try to learn when young, because patti wagons, men in white coats, and straight jackets are kind of scary, and what kid wants to constantly be in trouble for eavesdropping or being scared of shadows and voices? I have yet to meet one of those.

When I came out of the psychic closet, I lost every one I ever loved that I hadn't already cut out of my life, except my son and two guy friends. "You've changed," they whined. No, I was just joyful and not going to lie about who I am anymore. They wanted it too, so I tried to help others, but eyes glaze over and it's just too much for some to learn that gifts are not as they believe or have been told to believe. If one belief is destroyed, there's a chance they all will be. And people...well, they CLING to their beliefs, I have learned that, if nothing else. Ego talk is their thing.

There has been a shift and people are waking up left and right, at least a little bit, and they are trying to shed old beliefs and different programming that squashes gifts of everyone. It's in the air, if you will or even if you don't will it. LOL

May I ask what color did the balls of light appear? Are they blue or white? Or possibly a darker color like black?
The best way to get in better contact with them is by training to speak telepathy instead of just thoughts, feelings, images.
That means your spirit senses are at a young level.
I am not obviously not going to say how on here because I cannot trust random people with my techniques.
I like to do things in a safe and secure way that way you can't be fooled by them pretending to be the spirits that they claim.

I want to remind you that you are not schizophrenic. That is a word created by humans who didn't accept the spiritual world to try and rationalize things they do not understand out of fear.
Your spirit senses are active at this late age because some great event in this material world or spiritual, even dreams, must of awakened it. You may of have it happened in your childhood but you didn't remember.

Usually lost souls don't like to speak about their deaths because it still saddens them which is part of the reaosn why they are still stuck on Earth. It's something they don't have closure on.
But I highly doubt a these lost souls (humans) are real spirit guides being they need guidance themselves.
It is true some people have active spirit abiltis s since they are even a baby. That part wouldn't make sense as to people being able to handle spirit abilities especially for a baby who know nothing of the world yet. There is always a bigger spiritual explanation.

Well I can talk to my 2 guides Alden and Julie Alden died in 1861 and Julie doesn't want to say when she died.
But Alden seems to stay with me all the time and we talk in a way with telepathy Julie likes to come and go as she pleases but when I need her she shows up
I'm only 15 and this all started just during summer I think that it's whenever God believes we can handle the psychic abilities and that we believe in these kinds of things
When I need Alden to do something I just politely ask him and he usually does
