My name is Lynda, I am empath, extremely sensitive to the spirit world and this plane, I am so happy I found this website, amazing stories, here is one of my real story. I was working at a Wellness Spa retreat bout 8 years ago, I was a housekeeper/cook, the spa was surrounded by a serene area, I was going outside to take my half hour break and sat down then looked up to the foresty in front of me, then I had seen a tall native man, dressed in the native traditional way, a large headdress with colors of white and red, buckskin pants, no shirt, a wide beaded necklace, he was holding looked like a bamboo spear in his right hand, when my eyes looked up at his eyes, they were locked I froze with fear, I didn't know what was going on, he had a serious expression, I didn't know at first if I was delusional or it was an apparition, we stared at each other for about 20 seconds, then he just disappeared quickly, it did freak me out, I didn't tell anyone, until I had seen him again a few days later, I was bending down putting towels away in the cupboard and I felt this strong intense presence right behind me, I turned around and had seen the same native man, he must have been over 6 ft tall, I was so scared he was about 10 feet away from me, as I looked up to his eyes, he had no expression then he disappeared, I was speechless and felt anxiety throughout my body, at this time I didn't understand why he was showing up, he did show himself a few more times in my life, I always felt a presence with me, like an attachment, I realized he was my main spirit guide, I call him "Standing Bear " when I do meditation and cleansing, I get a strong sensation on my left side of my head, I know it's him.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but the native man you regularly see is not your guide. When you are born your guide will be with you 24/7 every minute of your life and will never come and go. NO ONE is allowed to see his/her guide or know his name until such time as you return to spirit life.
You will know that spirits abound and when one is attracted to you he will return every now and then. Your visitor is most likely earthbound and unaware that he has passed over.

Spirits also referred to as guides but are known as Spirit team, come through with healing and guidance and trance and medianship or prophecy.
The Native American tradition and Indigenous terms are different than metaphysical or Spiritualist church thought or beliefs. Even Angeles how they work. But most believe similar as one main guide.
In Spiritualist there is a belief called reflection. One dies and can still come by and help a human. It helps with their own development.
Earth bound means they have never crossed over to light or Creator. And walk upon this earth.
I differ from the main stream being taught both worlds.
I do not wish to sound like a wet blanket but I have seen my main Guides in a dream. I have seen my Protector when awake and the other healer guides who work with me in dreams and in the day.
It took years. The strange part is I had a young man see and verify this. He had always seen peoples main spirit Guide of others. And saw them in black and white. For the spirits who walk aka work with me. He saw all in color to include my main guides which are 2.
The one you saw is there to help. But I do get the answer as your main guide.
I do not see him as discarnate and roaming or requiring assistance in crossing over. He died went up and now goes back and forth to work with you to help. I do not see him as one that walked the Black road, but the Red road of Tradition.
I get a different sense with discarate souls who roam. My stomach is sensitive and my spine quivers. Cold spots or heat felt. Sometimes orbs fly by.
For spirit helpers my stomach is sensitive and I get my crown chakra open. When it is a Spirit team helper answering questions. My vision in my head is colorful and cross reference with symbols and I may hear things in my head and sometimes literally via electronics EVP. I hear answers. It is the same place I pray and I have been under extreme stress. Needing guidance and answers. A Heyoka medicine man gave me an Item. The item had a Spirit Heyoka spirit helping me out. It has been odd and powerful.
