When I was young, I had a dream that my Aunt who visited us often, had a big throbbing ear. Later the next day she asked me if I would cut her hair. During the cutting, the scissor slipped and I cut her ear. I had some other of those types of experiences but didn't think much of it and never pursued it.
When I was an adult, I went to a psychic fair for my own reading. While there I picked up a local magazine which listed occult services and found a school of Metaphysics. I was very interested since I was searching to find my spiritual path and had not been satisfied with organized religion. I enrolled in the school thinking only of my spiritual advancement. But through Meditation classes and Intuitive development classes, I realized that I had ability and began to use it. I studied the Tarot and began to do readings for my friends. Eventually I began to feel more confident and started to do public readings. I also studied and became certified in Past Life Regression therapy and have become a Reiki Master. I have had many wonderful experiences over my 17years in my work.
I was fortunate to be able to participate in a psychic radio program where myself and another psychic did on air readings once a week. One week we broadcast from a local pub and patrons of the pub would sit with us and we would do a reading on the spot. In this case, a white male about 50 years old asked what he was in a previous life. What instantly came to me was that he was a slave in the US and lived in the plantation house caring for the family's children. I told him this and he seemed very excited about it. He went back to his table and when our broadcast was finished, he asked me if I would join him for a drink. I did and he told me that his home is filled with African Art that he had always been drawn to and he is a jewelry designer and he designed an ankle bracelet with a simulated broken chain signifying the freeing of the slaves. I was very excited also to receive confirmation of what I had received from spirit. As long as I do this work, I never stop being amazed and excited with my communication with spirit.
Two years ago, I began to study mediumship and have had numerous wonderful experiences in that field. I have had a Native American guide who came and gave the circle spiritual advice and a little girl who giggled and played and teased the group to name just two of many.
I believe that we all have psychic ability and in most cases, it takes development to realize it. Some psychics know from a very young age that they have ability but many of us have to pursue development as I have.
Remember to pay attention to your dreams and intuitive feelings. Too many people dismiss them and miss some very important spiritual guidance in their lives and in some cases warning of danger ahead.
