Ever since I was in my pre-teens I have been having the experience of seeing halos around doorways. I can see them from afar but they're much more faint than they appear to be as I approach them. I'll be walking up not thinking about much of anything, and then as I'm within about a foot or two from the doorway a translucent white halo will appear around the doorway as I'm passing through it. But I can only see it in the corner of my eye.
I can't remember when exactly they began appearing to me, because even now about ten years later I only notice them intermittently. One of the first experiences I do remember having with them though was when I was probably about 13. On more than one occasion I would walk through a doorway in my home and as I was passing through it my entire field of vision would go white for a split second and a feeling would go through me that I can only describe as an energy shift. It was an intense tingling feeling that started at around the center of my forehead and radiated down to my toes. It was an exhilarating feeling.
I'd considered that maybe it was only the room or the home I was in, but this even happened after we'd moved into our new home about a year or two later. It wasn't a constant occurrence, but it did happen from time to time. I'm just wondering if anyone can explain to me what exactly these experiences are that I'm having and if this is a common phenomena...?
