Voices At Night

I have some questions about this kind of stuff. It has just started happening to me and I don't really know what to think. I'll start off with my first encounter. I was in bed saying my prayers and I started thinking about my mother, I don't know but for some reason I'm terrified that she is going to die before she needs to. Anyways I was thinking about that and a woman's voice came through and asked "why" and I don't really remember the conversation after that. Then about a week later or so I was watching t.v. Later at night and I had a tingly feeling, happy, relaxed and I thought I saw a shape of a man in the corner of the room. Then about two weeks later I was going to bed again and I heard a crowd of voices, kind of like your in a loud bar. I couldn't really make out the conversations that were going on but over the top of the crowd the woman that asked "why" shouted "I LOVE YOU" the voice doesn't sound familiar. Then a couple of days ago I was taking a bath and I heard a man say "What is this" kind of angry or possibly startled. It really freaked me out so I hurried up and got out and calmed down and sat on the couch. About 20 or so minutes later the same voice came over my shoulder and said "what" but it was a long spread out whisper. I don't know what they are trying to say to me?

richasa Yes these abilities can be passed down through generations just like diseases and habits can be found in the same family.

Thanks for your take Edmund, I also wonder why I get so scared for my mom. She right now is not in bad health. I also shared these experiences with my mom and she said to me. "I was wondering when you were going to ask me about this." Through my conversation with her she told me that she also hears and sometimes sees ghosts/spirits. She has told me some of her experiences and now I feel so much closer to her. Are these "abilities" passed down through generations?

richasa... Here is my spin... Ghosts/spirits and the like are in a better position than the living to read thoughts and emotions. When you put a lot of emotion and thought into death or if a death is going to happen... Terminal ill or the like it is not uncommon to get a house full of spirit or ghost activity... When a loved one of mine was terminal the house got full of spirits... Past relatives, black shapes darting around etc., etc. So to make the spirit activity subside you need to put less emotion into your thoughts about Mom passing before her time... That way there is less for them to feed on... And yes after a few months when the living in the house became more accepting of the loss of the loved one the spirit activity subsided.
