Sleep Paralysis With Psychic Attack?

I had a weird experience the other night, which is the first time I had this happen to me and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this before?

I work as a medium, so I am quite aware of visions and voices associated with them. This was not the same.

And I am a light sleeper, really do I fall into a deep sleep.

The other night I had sleep paralysis, shortly after midnight. So not my usual waking time. But accompanied with this was the tingling sensation in the back of my head, usually associated with psychic attack and a very loud voice of a woman. The voice was inside of my mind, not coming from my room. As it is in telepathic communications and it was not during a vision.

I have had sleep paralysis before, usually when I am extremely over tired, it may happen several times that night. It usually is the typical, unable to move, with the over whelming feeling of fear. With this night, there was no feeling of anxiety or feeling scared. And I have never had that weird sensation in the back of my head, the only thing I can associate it with, is the feeling I get when I have psychic attack, which happened a few times to me, but I was fully awake and in an area that was very active.

Any thoughts?

Hey uhm. I'm not familiar with the terms used because I try not to look into it as much but ignoring this is gradually becoming impossible for me. I clicked on your story because it somewhat relates to one of my own. This sleep paralysis? I'm 17 years old and recently, as well as occasionally over the past few years, I have been experiencing these moments when I would be asleep, well my main goal was to sleep, and while dreaming there would be a still image infront of me, a scene or something, and for the life of me I cannot move. Nothing hurts, nothing else is out of the ordinary except my body won't do what I want lol It almost feels as if something is holding me down or on my chest however. When I eventually do wake up, I feel a jolt and am at a loss of breath. I jump up as if something was actually holding me down and just let go. It's completely scary.
Oh and once when a family member was sleeping in the same room as me, she witnessed this happen and my eyes were wide open even though I was asleep... If you know anything could you please let me know.
Sorry for babbling on your post. I would've posted my own but the website said they need time to post the stories they've been sent before posting more.

I have had this several times, and the paralysis due to the fact that your body is asleep but your soul is awake. It may feel hard to move, and even though you can see your eyes are actually closed. If you force yourself to sit up and you don't panic, you can astral project. Its scary at first when you look at your body sleeping

I do believe that it was astral projection for I also experienced this many times because I think I am astral projecting while asleep. 😊

I am a light sleeper too and go through sleep paralysis a lot but have learned to turn them into out of body experiences.

Our chakras run on both sides of our body so it could have been your third eye, from behind. A good deal of our energy centers are in the head region and usually the last to separate because of this. Hearing the loud voiced woman is not surprising. What we hear and experience varies greatly, depending on the person and environment. It can be voices, the sound of what seems to be a gunshot (I hear from readers a lot about this one), screams, etc.

I think the fear is with people not experienced with it (which is the majority of the population). Once you get used to it you can take control and do all sorts of things from astral projecting, working on your chakras, and manifesting. If you weren't afraid, it probably means good progress. Or perhaps the woman you heard gave off enough of a positive vibration that it didn't unnerve you.

Hope this helps.
