Can I Hear And See Deceased People?

I guess my story starts when I was about four or five years old. I did something reckless and wasn't thinking right. There was a cable hanging down from the ceiling of our basement. My brother and I were swinging off of it and landing on the couch. I don't know why I did it but I tied the wire around my neck. I jumped and all I saw was blackness. But then it started getting lighter and I saw figures of people passing by me so fast. It was getting brighter and brighter and then the whispering started. It was getting louder and louder, I was scared and the light was getting unbearable. All of the sudden all of it stopped and I saw my mothers face crying above me. They took me to the doctors and I was completely fine. After that everything went back to normal but I have always felt different. I would hear people yell at me and turn around to find nobody there. I would be home alone and see things in the corner of my eye and look and nothing would be there. It seems that lately things have been getting worse. One night when I was home alone I was watching tv and a woman's voice yelled at me and asked me "what are you doing?". I jumped and rewound the movie but didn't hear her voice again. That was the only clear voice that I have heard. But it started getting creepier. I would start hearing things or voices and sometimes I would turn to the person beside my and ask them what they said and they would just look confused. I don't think whoever is trying to talk to me is trying to hurt me or anything but sometimes I'll be standing in a warm room with a sweater or a coat on and instantly the hair on my neck will stand up and I'll be very cold. Now the very creepy part is just begining. On the wednesday before Christmas I was sitting on the couch trying to watch tv and there was wispering getting louder and louder in my ears. I would pause the show and everything would go away in the silence. This went on for about fifteen minutes until I couldn't take it anymore. I shut the tv off and went outside to visit my friends. The next morning my mother called me sobbing and it turns out that the same night that I had heard the wispers a little boy that I knew had been murdered by his father. I didn't put much of this together until only about a week later it hit me. I had hear the wispers only a few hours after the boy died. I felt scared and had to tell somebody. I told my friend and my brother but they soon forgot about it. I was scared that I would hear them again and I would know what it means. And then it happened. I heard the wispers again one night just like I had heard them before Christmas. They were not as loud but I still knew that something wasn't right. I couldn't sleep that whole night and the whole next day I was waiting for a call. Sure enough my father called and my adopted grandfather had passed away the night before. I was seriously scared at this point, I played off that I was okay but when I got off of the phone I kind of broke down. I haven't heard the wispers since and I take that as a good sign but weird things still happen to me. I hope that I'll never hear them again but I'm not sure that if it does I will be able to handle it. The only thing that I think connects me to these experiances is the fact that I have been near death and I did see and hear things. I also still have dreams about what I saw. Sometimes I want it to stop but sometimes I think that if I could make it stronger I could help people or communicate with my friends and relatives whom I loved. If anyone can help me or tell me if I should embrace this fact about me and work towards it I am open to suggestions. I have been supressing everything that happens to me but I'm wondering if that could be bad for me. I loved both the people that I lost this year very deeply and if I hear the voices and know that someone close to me has just died it will drive me crazy.
