I Unknowingly Levitated

It's taken some preparation for me to be able to write this. It took some time for me to realize that the entity in my home was feeding off my energy as I was writing my experiences on this site. But after performing a smudging ceremony I no longer feel his presence and can write about my next two nightmare experiences.

A short time after having my 911 and anthrax attack precognitions, my ex and I moved to another home. From the moment I walked into this house I felt bad vibes and they got stronger the closer we got to the basement. But my ex was dead set on moving there and we did, against my instincts. One night as we laid in our bed falling asleep I felt a light brush of a breeze on my face. And I thought I heard a flutter like the wing of a bat. There was a door in our bedroom that led to a set of stairs to the attic, so naturally I thought a bat had gotten into our room. I jumped up flipped the light on while smacking him to get up and find it. After thoroughly searching our bedroom, we found no bat and went back to bed. As I drifted off to sleep I slowly became aware that I could no longer feel the bed under my body. And at the same time my ex opened his eyes because he couldn't feel me beside him but saw that I was floating about 1-2 ft. Above the bed. I heard him gasp as I was convincing myself it was my imagination. Hearing his gasp I opened my eyes and fell back to the bed and my ex jumped out of the bed screaming "What the eff". The last time I spoke to him which was 5 years after this incident he was still talking about it. Can't blame him really.

Years pass and much of my life had changed. I was sleeping alone in my bed in a different place by the way. It was one of those dreams I couldn't wake from I was paralyzed in my sleep. There was a low growling sound in my ear. All I could do was crack my eyes open to see a rabbit in my doorway, sitting on his hind legs. Sitting down it was about 3ft. Tall, had big fangs, long claws and I do believe it had yellow glowing eyes. It's fur was matted like it was wet. Maybe with something sticky. I don't remember how I got out of this, but I know I didn't fall back asleep!

I thought I read an article a while back that they were planning to level some older houses in the Flint area. Maybe you'll get lucky! ❤ 😁

StephyW I don't know anything about Kentwood. Other than when I just looked at the map and saw it's near GR. I live near Flint, so I'm not out that way much.

I just want to say that I haven't had a levitation experience like that before or since then. Nor do I ever want to do that again! So whatever it was can just stay there at that house! Matter of fact they should bulldoze.

I have had other paralysis dreams before but non involving animals or creatures or growling noises.

And thanks Jav for the link. Interesting info on there. Things I didn't think about.

Chillz, I don't doubt that the house you lived in had something nasty to it. My parents just moved out of Kentwood (nasty enough in itself, as I'm sure you know being from Michigan too). Though the house was only built in the early 70's, and as far as I know it wasn't on any indian burial ground, it had a negative energy to it as well. All the animals we ever owned developed some sort of issue. My family was always edgy or arguing. The neighborhood generally sucked (not at first, but being Kentwood, it went downhill). Now that we're all out, we all feel so much better, and generally happier. None of us miss that house, though we spent 19 years living there. I don't even feel the need to drive by for old times sake. And we had a great childhood! I think sometimes, places are just built in areas that are more downer than others. I'm guessing that is probably the case with that house you lived in too.

Nothing else about the levitation night sticks out besides the whole thinking there was a bat in the room just before it took place. Whatever that was about I think it's tied to that house. Like I said I felt it's presence when we looked at the house the first time. I didn't want to move there but my ex husband wouldn't hear it. I remember my daughter, who was only a few months old at that time, would wake us with terrible screams in the middle of the night. My ex hung a rosary and a dream catcher above her bed and that stopped. I'm not catholic and neither was he but he had a rosary from his first daughter's Christening. The final straw was when I came home to find him wasted one night and he got violent. He was far from a good husband anyway but I feel that if we hadn't lived there that event would of never happened. Needless to say that was the end of him and I to. After we moved out I found out about the previous tendant losing it and attacking the neighbor lady.
The sleep paralysis I've read about recently. It's also reffered to as a witch riding your back. I can see so many people having some of these symptons in common like not being able to move or wake from the dream. But isn't it odd that we all see similar creatures and hear it's growling! I think it's proof that there's more to this world than most of us know... Of course I don't need to explain that to you guys 😉

Haha, Jav, it took me a second to get the "liver condition" but that's pretty funny! 😆
In all seriousness though, that would be scary to see, whether it was a side effect of sleep paralysis or a demon-thing.
Chillz, if I were your exboyfriend, I'd remember the levitation thing too! 😨
So I'll release the inner nerd, and quote the ever-fantastic Harry Potter:

"Is this real, or is it all in my head?"
"Of course it's in your head! But why would that mean its not real?" ❤

OK!OK!,
I'll try this one again. I will try to be fair here. You're second experience, waking up paralyzed in your bed, growling noises, hallucinations, fear. These are all typical of Sleep paralysis. Each one of those descriptions fits perfectly into that category. Sorry about my previous post here, it was a little shocking reading that last experience, and I went straight for the punch line. I was wrong.
Now, the levitation is a whole different ball of wax for me. I'm not saying it didn't occur. I actually believe that it did. I just haven't any advice for you with that. Is there anything more that you can remember about that night? Anything at all that sticks out in your mind?

chillz,
You know, you really had me with the levitation act. That I was ready to fall for. 😆
But when you brought in the slimy giant vampire bunny with a liver condition? Well, let's just say I ain't going to go looking for his eggs! 😆

HaruNoTsuki I'm not so sure about the existence of werewolves or vampires. I haven't been one to follow the vampire trend in the 90's nor the crazier trend going on now. Oddly enough though ever since I lost my baby teeth to this day I've had people tell me I resemble a vampire. My k-9 teeth do protrude and are noticeably sharp. I do not run around biting people, nor do I claim to be a vampire. I do however like my meat rare haha. No but really bats tend to make a visit before I have an experience with an evil entity. I've wondered if at that time something was trying to posess me. There were some crazy things that had happened to the individual that lived in that house before we did. He was drinking in the basement and suddenly decided it would be a good idea to rape the blind, deaf old lady next door. As for these days I know more about what's been going on with me back then and feel more in control over these events than ever before.

sounds a lot like vampire or werewolves coming around you... Though I still question their existence. I'm not sure what it is, could be demons that like your psychic vibe. Black dogs tend to be signs of demons, so that could explain the werewolf thing, and the bat, might just be another demon or the same one. Get a priest, he might be able to help. Good luck
