Dream Or Message, Good Or Evil?

Last night I went to bed around 11:00 and was awakened from sleep by a voice that said, "I am real and I'm in your room." I woke up when I heard that, and it was like in my head, not like somebody said it out loud or in my ear. It was a little after 1:00. It was very real. It didn't exactly scare me, just was weird. Any thoughts? I am 45 years old, happily married, but with a lot of job stress right now. I have never heard voices before. I am a Christian. I do not drink or do drugs. I do believe in the devil and the demons and that they want to attack Christians, but I know God is more powerful and that as long as I walk with him I can't be harmed, but I rather not have any further late-night messages. And you hesitate to mention something like this to anyone. It's oh, you are hearing voices, well, does schizophrenia run in your family? Do you do drugs? So I've told my husband only, and he tells me it was only a dream. I mean, there just isn't that much to tell! Has anyone else experienced this? I often dream, but when I wake up, I can't usually make sense of it except every now and then I'll have a clear dream. Usually still something on the stupid side. I just wonder if whatever I heard was significant, or just a meaningless dream. It was a man's voice, but not familiar to me. It was at 1:00, would have thought if it was something evil it would have been around the 3:oo AM time, since that's the witching hour or whatever they call it. When evil roams more freely or is more powerful. Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

I agree with Ruth. Ghosts and Spirits do tend to leave at one point or another. The best advise I can give is to not show any signs of fear and to act as if you are not affected. That method has worked with me a few times. But I hope everything goes well for you. 😁

Hi

You are so normal and nothing else.

I was 36 when I started seeing spirits faces and letters and numbers and colors and voices too. Now I'm 42. It is a blessing for me.
I did not believe in any of that before then, so I totally understand where you are coming from.

You can do yourself a favor and ask the spirit that you acknowledge they are there and to please leave now. They will hear you if you do it in your "inside" voice, as they are also talkint in their inside voice too.

You will find he will leave. Ghosts have feelings and sometimes they just want to know that someone out there can hear them. They want to have a bit of normality in their existence, especially if they are not happy there. You could also be a little bit encouraging and tell them they should try to move onto a higher realm.
Love and light

Many people's faith are "dead" until they really, I mean like really come into contact with supernatural phenomena.

Many times people do not really feel nor believe in God's true power, until they get a better understanding of spirituality and the essence of Spirit.

I was a Christian for 18 years but then I turned Atheist saying to God "okay God, I have seen so much pain and have been in the deepest depths of hell and yet I have never seen ghosts, therefore I just cannot believe in some sort of Greater supernatural power beyond myself and this physical reality!" And short after that because I dared "to challenge God" I began to see Spirits and that is what practically saved me and made me believe in God or a Greater Force once more.

Sometimes you just need to understand that there is more than just the mundane physical reality to renew your Faith in the Divine.

I agree with shapeshifter, this does not sound like some evil entity and could have possibly been a Guardian Angel speaking to you in your dreams, as that is where their playground is when people are fast asleep... Sounds like an Angel giving you some sort of "wake up call" as in "don't doubt, God is here, inside your temple (body/room) ". But since you do not know if this was during sleep or not, you could possibly have the psychic gift of Clairaudience, to hear but not see Spirits speak.

What you need to do is calm down and remember certain aspects of your happening. Did the voice sound frightening and did you feel like it meant you harm? Or was it a calm but assertive booming voice? It might not even be something evil as it seems you believe.

Why aren't you taking this subject up with your pastor? The Christian church has lots of history of booming voices, burning bushes and other anomolies that would fit right in.
