Beloved Pet

I believe your passed pet always stays by your side until the end. I recently loss my dog name Charlie due to cancer. Charlie was always the odd dog. He was funny, intelligent, protective, and loveable. Well, he always sat by my side as to protect my from energies he didn't like. He would growl to alert me, and make sure nothing bad happened to me. Well, we had to put him down because his cancer was advance, and his treatment didn't work. Everyday we watched him get better then he got worse. I felt guilty, terrible, and terrible bad for putting him down. The first two nights I had the same nightterror. It was in the vets office putting him down, and the vet said you can still save him over and over again. I didn't feel any presence of him around me those nights. But, my friend told me (without telling her about him) I had this really light energy that was a recent death that he won't leave your side. I asked her who? She told me she can't tell it's a mist. My jaw droped he was the only recent death I had. Later that day I was home by myself watching tv. I swore I saw him on the couch looking out the window. I kept seeing pure white orbs dart across the room. Then I saw this bright orange orb fly across the kitchen to the living room into my heart. I wasn't scared I knew it was him. The orange orb means forgiveness, protection, love, and happiness. I know he forgives me for putting him down. That night I had a dream of him, or it could be an unoticed out of body experience. I walked out of my bedroom to the living room. There was my dog all healthy. He didn't look like he battled cancer. I sat on the floor where he was at. He showered me with kisses and hugs (he use to put his head on your shoulder for a hug). I sat there and play tug of war intill it dissappered and woke up. I feel his energy around me sometimes. I feel I'm rub aganist my leg when I leave. A pet is more then a pet. There your family members. You open your heart for uncondtional love. Their energy has to go somewhere, and I don't think the go to pet heaven until their owner passes. Please help explain on what happened. Does anyone have the same events?

So I'm not seeing things just for seeing things. That what I saw was not a pigment of my imagination.

The dream world is just another route to connect with the after life of our loved ones to include pets.

As A.V said they have a soul and despite a cat/dog/horse walking on four legs, they are able to teach us lessons as unconditional love.

It is correct that they do look like a mist/ball of light. You will find though the years our pets that are meant to be with us will speak to us before we meet them. If you continue to have an open heart you will find that if you have a pet who is dying, you can ask for you old beloved friend to cross over and help this 2nd pet move on.

In the past I have seen my Husband's, Golden retriever, with his little scarf. I described it to the tee despite never seeing him was alive, walk into our living room. He crossed over to help our cat.

But you are right they are family.

Thank you, I read that an spirt can connect with you through dreams. This is what I was thinking it was. Even though I said goodbye to him he didn't get the chance. So, that could be him saying he is fine and goodbye.

I'm very sorry you lost your friend/pet to cancer. The right thing to do is exactly what your family did and your dog would forgive you because it was humane. No one wants to see their beloved pet go through the advanced level of cancer (or anyone for that matter).

Dogs have souls just like we do. They often stay with us after they pass and you will also see your dog when you yourself pass, though of course, we all hope that is not for a very long time. I've read many NDE experiences and dear pets are always there to greet us when our time comes.

Charlie sounds like a wonderful dog. If you can, clear your heart of guilt and just embrace the visions you have of him and know his pain is now all gone. Charlie is happier than you can imagine and he's also closer than you can imagine. Both are happy thoughts indeed.

Thanks so much for sharing.
