My Grandfather Took Me As Far As He Could

My grandfather and I had always been very, very close. I just knew out of all the grandchildren, I was his favorite. He was a VERY strict man, and vowed that if any of his daughters ever came home pregnant, he would turn them out of the house.

Lo and behold, my mother came home pregnant with me. While my grandfather had always said he would not stand for it, he did not throw my mother out. In fact, he was very excited when I was born, and since his house was my first house, we grew a strong bond. In fact, when my mother married and left the house, my grandfather cried.

While I was in college, my grandfather became very ill. He was hospitalized, and his situation became very grave. His blood was not doing so well, and doctors had to amputate some of his toes. Everyone in the family knew the end was near.

During a college vacation, I was visiting my mother's house, and fell asleep in my old room. That night I dreamt that I was in what seemed like outer space. There was a circle of lights. I realized that the lights were all of my family members. It seemed that while all of the lights looked the same, I could "perceive" who the different lights were, and what they looked like in their individual human forms. I further realized that we were in the formation of a circle because we are a family. All families form circles.

The way to communicate here in space was completely different. There were no audible words, only a swift telepathy. It was like whatever was communicated from one person to another was through a sort of thought transfer, and vice versa.

I soon noticed that some of the lights were communicating something. It was my mother and her sisters. They were talking to each other about how someone was about to leave our circle. At that moment, I instantaneously knew it was my grandfather who was about to leave.

Funny, I perceived that in this "family circle" everyone has their place in the circle, but I left out of my place and went straight over to my grandfather's light. I begged him not to go, I told him that I needed him here, and was trying to keep him from leaving our circle.

All of a sudden, my grandfather's light got out of the circle, and began to go up, up, up, into infinite space. The amazing thing was, I was with him! We traveled far up into the heavens, and everything seemed vast and endless.

All of sudden, we came to a sudden stop. It was like I could see beyond to what was above us, but I could perceive that there was this invisible barrier on top of me. It was impenetrable.

My grandfather, who had spoken only Spanish during his life, communicated in English, "I can't take you any further, but we're going to see each other again one day... "

The next thing I know, I was awakened to the sound of knocking on my door. It was my dad. He told me to wake up, that my mother was on the phone crying, that my grandfather was gone...

I woke up, got dressed, went to the hospital, and saw my grandfather in "human" form in this lifetime one last time.

The amazing thing, is that I always imagined myself going completely hysterical when my favorite man died, but you know what? That dream completely calmed me. He assured me that we would see each other again one day, and to this day, I still believe him.

Maybe you could try to communicate with him by practicing spiritual communication. Now I'm not a religious person HOWEVER I do believe in people becoming spirits, or more commonly known, ghosts.
