I have a collection of odd things that have happened to me throughout my life, and I was wondering if any of you have had similar experiences or can give me some answers. Thank you.

Alright, so I am an 18 year old girl, and to get started, I should state that as a child I was surrounded by spirits. However, I can date back to the night all paranormal activity stopped for good. (Sunday, Sept 5, 2010).

I should also add that I have these 2 profound memories that I know 100% that I have never experienced before. I won't get into detail about them, but it might give some extra background info as to what I am yet to explain or try to anyway.

The first strange experience I had happened to me 2 years ago. I had a dream that these 2 black dogs came to me and told me that my neighbor was going to die. Sure enough, a week later, she died. (Not exactly sure what of.) The second strange experience happened about a year ago, and several times in that same month. I would be sleeping, and then this voice inside of my head, would scream my name and tell me to wake up. It would scare me so much, I tried not to nap anymore. The third experience happens regularly. I will be just about to sleep, and I will see a face of a young boy, in black and white, and he is staring at me and if I look at him for too long without opening my eyes, I start to get very uneasy and scared. As well as that, I sometimes feel as if though I am leaving my body? I can recall a time where I was convinced that I was dying - it was a very pleasant and peaceful feeling and I was actually disappointed to have returned back to my body. The last thing happened 3 months ago maybe? My beloved dog of 14 years passed away, and a few weeks following her death, I had this very vivid dream of cuddling with her and kissing her and being so glad I could touch her again. It felt so real, her fur, the way she acted, her smell, everything. I like to think it was her visiting me, but I just don't know. It hasn't happened since. I'm sorry for the length, I would just like some answers as to what I could have experienced and if anyone else has had similar things happen to them? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Lioness - so, I really was dying? Wow... That's quite interesting. Is it possible that I could actually die? Or is it more of an astro-projection?

You were asking if anyone had a similar experience to what you had, that's interesting about the dog and that you heard a boy. I had similar things happen also I have had dreams that predict things. I dreamed about a horoscope thing that is big to predict horoscope and I searched for it on the internet and I found it, though I have never seen one for real.

You are a spirit living inside the body, so it would be normal for you to contact other spirits, but our belief system and basically the norms of the world have sort of forgotten about spirits, forgotten about the magic of life. So naturally we turn to each other for support since believing in supernatural yourself without consulting anyone is usually rejected.

According to my research in astrology it seems some people have the ability to "sidestep" themselves, in a sense leave their body but still keep it in perfect condition. Like the boy you mention in black and white, material and immaterial at the same time. Naturally your body will send signal of you dieing/leaving the body. I had that once and freaked out, you're quite amazing for handling it so calmly:)

I think the emotional vastness of the feelings concerning your dog is able to fill you within your dreams and make it as if you're with him again. Although I don't disregard that you could somehow contact the spirit of that dog, but the result will still be the same, you feeling as if your with him again:)

That is very comforting to know. I too felt much better after my dream; so much so, that it helped tremendously with my grieving. Thank you!:)

I do believe that animals can visit you in your dreams after they have passed on, just like human spirits! I have recently lost my dog also and have had several vivid dream visits from him letting me know he is OK. I have always been told that very vivid dreams where you can recall colors, sounds, touch... Etc are actually visitations. Unfortunately I have lost a lot of family members & pets, but I have these dreams (visits) quite often and they always make me feel better!
