I posted a story a while back questioning my abilities as to whether they were just coincidental. I think I have always known that I have abilities, but given that I questioned them and didn't have faith in the fact that I do have the ability, they became much less frequent. After posting that story, however, and reading many other individual's stories I began to grow in the faith that I do have a gift and I began to trust myself. In doing so, I have had numerous experiences that have occurred to date.
Though they are rather insignificant incidents, I feel strengthened by them and they confirm to me even more that I do have this ability. This weekend was especially busy with many things occurring.
There were some events that we were having this weekend that I foresaw and to confirm to my husband that I am not crazy (he is a non believer... So he says anyway), I told him the outcome of those events prior to them taking place so that when and if they did occur as I had said, he would have the proof of my knowing. There were five separate events that I had given him details to, and sure enough, when all was said and done, I was accurate on all of them. I'd rather not detail those events to you as they are with regard to the fact that my husband and I both hunt. Because I respect all beliefs, I don't wish to offend anyone by going into detail on this.
Another item occurred this weekend when I dreamt that we had a hummingbird in our garage. The following day, my daughter came running in the house out of breath and agitated, because...yes, you guessed it, there was a hummingbird trapped in our garage! While we were attempting to release it, I couldn't help but think how identical to my dream it was.
My husband and I went fishing yesterday morning and there happened to be a man sitting alongside a boat on the dock awaiting his friends return so that they could shove off and begin fishing. When I looked at the man by the boat a thought popped into my head out of nowhere and said to me that they worked together and that the man standing by the boat had never done this type of fishing before. When we came back in to shore to quit fishing later that morning, the same two gentleman were there again at the dock also ending their fishing day. Again, the same gentleman was left with the boat, while his friend went to get his truck to load the boat on the trailer. While he and I were waiting, we began chatting about the fishing conditions and how each had faired. He then told me that he hadn't ever done this type of fishing, but that his buddy from work had asked him along and he thought it sounded like fun. Needless to say, my heart flipped when I heard him say that and I thought, yep, I already knew that.
Despite the insignificance of these things, it was further confirmation of my ability and it helped to confirm to my husband, the non believer, that I'm not just making this stuff up and that it couldn't be chalked up to coincidence. I guess maybe it was my minds way of saying, "Hey, wake up, this stuff is real and no you are not nuts!" So for those of you who do question yourselves like I always have, start believing in yourselves and you'll be surprised at what happens.
