How Do You Explain This One?

First off, I'm not certain if what I am seeing is a vision or the memory of a dream, but I can tell you it has me very perplexed. I have no idea what to make of it and am looking for a few ideas on what this could be, because it feels especially creepy!

I was laying in bed last night, fully awake and having difficulty sleeping, when all of a sudden a vision of an accidental death occurred. I couldn't make out the details of it other than the fact that it was very bleak and dreary and the deceased's body had been hidden by the person responsible. I got the feeling the person responsible for the death hadn't done it intentionally and was sickened, panicked, remorseful and terrified (all of which I literally felt).

The other bizarre part is that I took on the role of the person who was responsible for the killing, which, as I am sure you can imagine, left me feeling terrified. I lay awake in bed actually wondering if this was really happening and if I really had done that (that's how realistic everything felt). As the feelings kept coming to me, I got the feeling that the person responsible caused the death unintentionally and hid the body in the woods out of fear, all the while praying that they would be forgiven and that the body would never be discovered.

I don't know what to make of any of this. The magnitude of it is beyond what I have experienced before. I am of very stable mind and don't make things up, but right now am feeling confused. If you could offer your insight, I would be grateful.

Well, I think there are two possibilities, each as likely as the other. Either you are clairvoyant, and saw a vision of this person being killed, or you are being told the story from a guilty soul, as resilverson said.

Either way, do not be afraid of these visions, though they may make you feel guilty and upset. This ability was given to you for a reason. You are to help people, whether it be the living or the dead.

i would be watching the news if I were you... Failing that, look up recent murders etc on the internet. My guess is that you will soon know what that vision/remote viewing was al about...
The only one I do not have... The gift of sight... Is the only one I wish for... Lucky you:) (minus the fear of course)

Thank you so much for your insight on this! It's a relief to be able to confide in others, as well as just to know that this same event has been experienced by others for my own personal sanity. I have difficulties discussing this with my husband, though he loves me very unconditionally and unquestioningly, he has chalked all of my events up to tv and doesn't believe that this is even a possibility, so it's difficult discussing the small events, much less one of such magnitude.

Xxivaxx - I will try your method and see if I can gain additional information so that I can sort this out further.

i have done many spirit rescues. Sometimes, after death before crossing over spirits will feel burdened by their transgressions and need to "talk" to someone about them. They fear the wrath of judgement. They come to me or I am asked to go to them by my clients and they reveal their greatest sin (s). Some of them are gruesome and some of them are simply a matter of bad judgement but once I tell them the divine spirit loves them unconditionally they cross over. I believe this is what happened in your vision. This spirit needed to reveal his crime to someone.

I have had almost identical experiences as yours. Looking out from the eyes of a killer, feeling the remorse and shame and panic (or not) when the deed was done. I had no idea where the crime was comitted so there was little I could do about it. That is when I realized the spirit needed to "talk" and I listened and convinced the spirit to cross over and experience the 1,000 lifetimes of love the divine spirit gives to us on the next plane of existence.

You may have more experiences like this but don't be afraid. You are a servant of the divine spirit. You will be protected because of your selflessness.

Are you, perhaps, a medium? Or perhaps, harbours a little of what a medium would have?
Because I don't really know about your actual situation (other than you had envisioned the memory of the killer, you're confused and that you are positive you wouldn't make things up.), I can only tell you the following:
1. Decipher the emotions contained in the vision. I don't mean categorising the emotions like the above, but you should find out the cause of these emotions. Trace back to your vision and think - if you were the killer, why would you feel guilt etc...
2. If possible, conjure the dream once again. And this time, leave a notebook next to your bed, so you could jot down details of your vision.
