My Dreams Come True - Are They Visions Or Just Coincidence?

I am not one of those people who never have dreams, or never remember them. Every time I fall asleep I have a dream and can replay it in my mind over and over again. A lot of the time these dreams come true.

One time I dreamed my friend was making a sandwich in the morning. This dream was so vivid that I contacted her straight away. I asked her what she was doing and she told me she was making a sandwich. I then continued to ask her what time their clock showed, what clothes she was wearing, what brand the butter was, who was in the next room, what was on the TV and even what song she was singing when making her sandwich. I got all of these details correct and felt as if something happened to me to make me see things.

Another time I dreamt that two certain girls from my school would threaten to shoot my friend and myself. I didn't tell my friend because I didn't want to worry her. When we received the threat (in real life) my friend just laughed it off, but I went pale and shaky.

When I was five, I dreamed my granddad would fall down some stairs, and seriously injure his shoulder. I woke up screaming, even though the dream wasn't scary at all. My mom came into my bedroom to ask if I was alright and I said that I'd had a bad dream. She told me seriously not to tell anyone of my dream and keep it too myself. Even though this dream happened ten years ago I still remember it clearly, as if it was yesterday. My granddad, probably at the same time I was having my dream, was walking down the stairs of his house to get a glass of water, he tripped, landing on his shoulder.

There have been many other occasions where my dreams have come true. My mother has them too sometimes. When she was 11, she dreamed her grandmother had died in the night. When she woke up she told her mother. Her mother just laughed and said she was getting in a worry over nothing. My mom went to school worried and when she came back she returned to the news that her grandmother had passed away. From them on my mom has never told anyone what she dreams about, for she fears they will come true.

Like my mother, I have had one dream which someone died in and the next day the dream came true. This someone was my granddad's dog. He was very old and we knew that he was going to pass away sometime soon. I told nobody of my dream, thinking it was silly. Around 8pm in the evening, we got a phone call that the dog has indeed passed away at the very time that was shown on the clock in my dream. I was not only in tears over the dog, but I was terrified over what I could do.

When I realized that these dreams could be visions I read some stories online. One involved a man's brother being killed and in his dream he came to tell him he'd being murdered. The dreamer told his officer and the officer gave him leave to find out about what had happened to his brother. Surely enough the brother had been murdered in the same place, at the same time and in the same manner as the dream.

I have no opinion to whether I am a psychic, or whether my dreams are just coincidence.

I have had some dreams in which it's just normal events that happen I am not sure I am psychic but I am probably not but still its weird like I remember seeing my dreams but I don't acknowledge them and they come true sooner or later and I know they are my dreams because I have a de ja vu moment.

can I just add, my grandmother is petrified of ghosts/spirits. She refuses to talk about them, my mum told me that she has seen them and had bad experiences, I don't know the details, maybe I should ask her now I'm older. My mum has also told me she has seen ghosts/spirits. My mum and I are also "connected" if you like, it is quite hard to explain? But we are open to eachother about these dreams and thoughts of mine that I have, she's the only one that tells me that these things do and can happen. Maybe its in my family, reading other peoples experiences only makes me want to reach out and find out more.

i had to make an account here because I have never been on a site like this where I can relate... I decided to google and this forum came up.

I'll start with thoughts, some of my thoughts come true within a few minutes or hours of me thinking of them, although I remember specifically if I only thought about it ONCE, it happens. I realised if I thought about something more than once it just doesn't happen, unless its in your face coincedence. The thoughts aren't limited, they are often simple not complex things that come true.

Now dreams, the lates dream I had that came true was a few weeks ago. My nanna has sent down my half sister and brother to a different city, without their mums permission. In my dream I had their mother come up to me, asking me for their numbers as she has tried ringing and texting them with no answer, she was in stress and very upset. In the morning, after being awake for about 5-10 minutes or so, the phone rings. My mum comes into the room telling me its my half brother and sisters mum. I talk to her and she asks me for their numbers because she isn't getting replies from them. These things don't particularly scare me, but intrigue me... I just want to know more about my "abilities"

I have a few other things happen in dreams... Gosh this post is getting long, sorry.

One of my friends died in a drunk car accident a few years ago. He was only my age back then, 17. A week after the accident, I had a very clear dream. He was inside of it, ofcourse. But the whole time inside of my dream I was thinking to myself, he's dead, why can I see him? I later talk to him inside a room, he says to me "atleast everybody knows now" I reply "knows what?" he says "what happened" I burst into tears and hug him. I find myself woken up in my bed with tears all over my face, I was crying in real life, but while dreaming? I have also been to visit his grave, decided to record me and my girlfriends conversation on my cellphone, I didn't restrict myself to the possibilities, we talked about him, and then left. I went back home, by myself, decided to listen to the recording. It took a while before I heard him speak in the recording (blatantly his voice) agreeing with what I said about him replying with "yeah!"

I got my friends to listen to it, it was quite hard to catch but when they heard it it wasn't hard to miss.

Someone please post a reply... What am I able to do?

when I was around 10 I sow my pregnant aunt slipping and falling on the floor. I told her about it, she didn't listing. The next day she slips- (her baby girl was born ok with a few minor pro). Now I have had only 1 Vision in my whole 20 year of life. I can tell most people are lying on this post. I believe, that when it come to psychic vision, people are choosen to see them, so they can do something about it and change the upcoming event. Seeing into the future is a POWERFUL gift and knowing how the human race of today behave and act, I don't think there is anyone the can tap into the future willingly.

Thanks For the back up, I know seeing the future is getting more common but not everyone on this website can have the gift I mean seriously though. We must have some people who are frauds

I'm going to have to agree with cyopathic and AmIPsychic. Just tell the truth and be yourself. Personally I... Intensely dislike people who pretend they are someone else [basically] just to seen cooler. I prefer the real deal and not the cheap fake in basics. Just saying.

[at] AmIPsychic - Well I have to agree that it would be pretty sick of someone to lie. To lie about being something they're not. Those are the kind of people that give people a reason to be frustrated. But being able to see into the future is starting to be more common among psychics. Not just saying everyone in general. Those who lie know who they are and should be ashamed.

This site is about understanding more about a dark zone that people fear to go by. But they end up here anyways even if they didn't choose this. All we can hope to do is lighten the burden and let them know they aren't alone.

The 10%-15% of the population with the gift to see the future can't all be on here so if your lying then you should either a) Tell people your true gift b) Tell the truth that your not pyschic but think your abilities haven't come fully yet of c) Apologise for lying tell people your not pyschic at all and well... Leave the webpage, sorry but we just don't need the fantasies or liars in this community because it can affect us all in A bad way.

I Would just like to say that I Personally think we have some fantasy dreamers or "liars" on the site. Not Saying
Anyone here but the ability to see the future is rare and everyone suddenly pops up with it. They must think that seeing the future is the best kind of pyschic but its not. The pyschic ability is not a joke and these people should respect it, not take the mick out of it. Who agrees with me because these people are in a way... Just sick to joke or pretend that they are pyschic. I'm An Empath and I can see the future but more to the future side, this is because my nan does tarot cards and can take spirits in her body and take them out so I got this through hereditary. She also talks to them.

This also happens to me, they happen just about every night, and I've just become bored of them because of how trivial they are. I just don't understand how any of it works or if I'm just crazy or something. Help?

I've had expiriences like this, and I'm only 12... It scares me every second of every day, and I can't keep thinking about it... Sometimes these things are small little things that don't matter much, but sometimes... They're terrible... About a month and a few days ago, I had a dream that people were running with hands over their heads. The ground was shaking, and everything was hectic. Then, I saw a girl. The girl was running, but stopped and looked back. Then, something hit her, and it seemed like it hit me too, because I could feel it. The next morning, one of my friends told me that an older girl we new (she was 16) was upset about losing her girlfriend in the earthquake. She was on vacation there. I talked to the girl, and described what I had seen. For instance, in the dream, she was wearing a jean jacket, and the girl said she always wore a jean jacket. The rest of the description fit too...

Ever since then, I have been having more and more dreams like that, but not awful ones... Everyone else I try to talk about it seriously with, think I'm joking, or insane...

I have a friend who sometimes dreams something bad is going to happen to him. Little things like being late for an appointment because he has a flat tire, something minor going wrong at work. He doesn't remember the dreams right away, but when he does he checks out the situation and has avoided little mishaps and accidents. Maybe you can use your dreams this way with practice. I would recommend reading some books about dreaming by Gayle Delaney and you may be interested in reading somethings about Astral Projection also. I would recommend Astral Projection and the Nature of Reality by John Magnus. It's a fun book to read.

There is no such thing as coincidence. Everything happens for a reason, we just do not always know the reason right away.

If your dreams come true, you are psychic. Plain and simple.

I understand what your saying completley. Do you ever have this gut feeling something is going to happen then it automatically does? People like us are lucky and cursed. We may be able to see things we don't want to... But if we see them there is always time to change them. Stark is correct, the future does always change depending on the actions we take.

I too have this ability. Some dreams come true and some don't. Recently I've noticed that I am remembering more and more dreams. Just remember the future is always changing. It changes with every action we take.
