Is Devin Real?

One day in sixth grade in gym we had to run. It was a hot day and after running a 16 year-old boy, who at the time only went by D, started to follow me. I told my friends and they were scared for me so after that I didn't say anything to them. After some time he became more visible to me and then said his name was Devin. He reminded me a lot of my brother at the time. He was the same height and his clothes looked like my brothers. He started to talk to me more after that as well.

Now in eight grade I still see Devin and he just recently told me his last name started with an R. I have tried to look up the name and history on my house but have found nothing. Devin has opened up more over time, now he is like a friend. He is just like a teenage boy- cocky and joking but I want to know if he is real or am I just imagining it.

Devin is very active and sometimes goes to school with me. Can a spirit just follow someone like that? That leads me to my next question, Devin doesn't feel like I should call him a ghost he only wants my to say spirit because a ghost sounds evil. Am I crazy? I feel strange walking around school with a spirit walking with me wanting to talk. Is he really who he says he is? I told my brother about Devin and my brother wasn't really sure if I was telling the truth.

I need help please, any kind. I feel so strange even while typing this Devin was talking to me. He said this website is questionable and that I shouldn't post my personal feeling on here. Sometimes I follow the advice he gives but this one I have to say no to. Please help me figure this out I am in desperate need of help to find out if I'm psychic. Thank you.
