Sinister Scent And Presence In The Library?

Today I was visiting my local library and something very strange happened.

First off I am a Christian who believes and possesses gifts of the spirit. I've had some pretty bizarre experiences in that past, you can check a few of them out in other stories that I've submitted.

I'll just say straight up, demons don't like me one bit. I honestly think that they feel I am a huge threat, I've had others tell me the same thing.

I was looking in a row of books and one caught my eye. The name of the book was something along the lines of "The guide to demons". Curiously I opened the book and began flipping threw pages. Somehow I don't think I ever even got around to reading a single word. All of the sudden I stopped.

I smelled this scent, this awful oppressive scent. It wasn't a typical stinky or rancid odor, the only way I could describe it is like it was an evil perfume. I almost gagged. I've never smelled anything like it. I started to feel like my energy was being drained, along with a feeling that almost felt like the blood was being drained out of my body.

Afterword, I felt prickly. I felt the bad type of Goosebumps, and the bad type of chills.

I recovered fairly quickly after moving away from the section, and ultimately felt almost 100% better upon leaving the library.

I instantly closed the book. And noticed all the books surrounding it were all pagan mysticism and witch spell type books.

Does anyone have any idea what this was, or what happened? What was the scent that I smelled?

On this particular outing you were very relaxed most likely in the receptive mode. The feeling of presence attributed to 'Psychometry' the book you touched has a history of dark emotions connected to prior owner. Clairaliance is the ability to smell a scent that others can't. Your question: What was the scent that I smelled? The smell factor is different for each person. Using self as example: highly negative spirit smells close to rotting meat flesh to me it's an awful putrid smell. Spirit attachment issue the person smelt like icky dead mackerel fish. On a positive sort of light some smell sweet others close to ozone damp smell I guess you would call this earthy.

Wow... That sounds spooky. Probably just an evil spirit. By the way, pagan mysticism isn't really associated with summoning demons or anything like that. Maybe the evil spirit just didn't want you to find the kinds of spells that would ward it off. Anyway, I think probably the spirit just wanted to scare you. The only way a ghost can hurt you is through the mind. If you pray for protection and do not allow yourself to be frightened, then the evil spirit will not go near you.

I have heard of some specific places just have being the presence of a daemon lingering there. Or maybe it is because they did not want you to read that book and had made it extruciatingly difficult to even be able to hold the book. As it seems as though the foul odor had only began once you had opened up the book and been flipping through the pages. I hope this has helped you somewhat 😊
