Goodbye Grandma

One morning my dad awoke everyone in the house with the worst news possible. He told us that he had to go out of town because his mother was dying. He told us he can only take either my brother or myself. I let my brother go. I stayed home with my mom.

My dad arrived to Mexico and called us at home to let us know he was okay. He also let us know that my grandmother was still in critical condition. That same night he left, I stayed the night at my mothers' moms' house. I dreamt that my dad and all of our family were at a funeral, but in my dream I wasn't at the funeral. It was raining and very humid. I was watching my family crying. My dad would look at me, and I would ask what was wrong. He was looking passed me and started crying even more. So I turned around, and I saw a casket. I was very eager to know who was in there.

I awoke from my dream and went running straight home to let my mom know about my dream. As soon as I got home. I told my mom she had to call my dad to see how my grandmother was doing. My dad said she was doing a lot better that morning. We were so relieved to know she was okay. So that night I stayed the night at my grandmother's house again.

It was about 9:30, when I went to sleep. I woke up about 11:00pm. The room was very cold, and I felt as if I wasn't the only one in the room. I thought it was my cousin because he would always go and scare me at that time. I was terrified to turn around a check to see if it was him. I felt the sensation to turn, and when I turned around completely, I saw my dad's mom standing at the door. She looked up at me and raised her hand as if she was telling me to go with her. My heart fell down to the ground and I prayed myself to sleep.

The next morning, I told my mom that my grandmother had came to visit me last night. I told her exactly what happened. We went to my other grandmother's house and called my dad. We asked him if his mom was still doing good. He told us that she had just passed away maybe an hour before we called. When he gave us that news, I thought I was going to faint. I thought to myself, "How is it possible if I just saw her last night..." That day we went straight to Mexico for the funeral. We arrived to my dad's town too late. Like in my dream the day of the funeral was humid and it was raining. I told my dad that I had seen his mother last night. He asked me if I can describe how she looked and what she was wearing. I told him she had a very bright light all around her body and she was wearing a white dress. My dad started crying and said to me that they buried her in a white dress.

After my grandfather died, my mother had a vision where he was sitting on a rock, surrounded by light. He sat with his chin resting on his hands.

My mom was awake during this vision. She told him, "Dad, you're in Heaven!" He responded, "Yeah, I made it". (he had been an alcoholic when he was younger, before Black Lung and cancer made him an invalid the latter part of his life)

Then during the vision, my grandfather said to my mother, "Don't worry kiddo, I'll pray for ya'"

(My mother was going through hard times putting up with my father-- I guess my grandfather was praying for her to cope through it)

I just lost my mother, buried her on friday, I could only wish to see her again in order to say goodbye. I used to have a connection, but have lost it with the spirtual realm. You have a special gift, rejoice.

Jeanette, I'm so sorry for your loss, but be assured that your grandmother is in a better place. When I lost my grandfather, after his funeral I saw him at our family home. It was very comforting. So consider yourself blessed.
Cheers !
