Dream Of The End

I occasionally have deja vu where what I dream becomes reality. Well a few years ago I had a dream that the world was ending, the reason I have decided to share my story is because of the significance of this year.

It scares me that the Mayans have said that on the 21st of December 2012 the world as we know it will end.

The dream started like as if it was just a normal day and I was going about my normal everyday tasks in my house, then all of a sudden there was a loud bang which was quickly followed by screams of terror.

I run out of my house and into the street to see what was happening. And my two little girls are following behind me. (My two little girls are 3 and 18 months). I had not had them when I had this dream, that's what is concerning!

I look up into the sky and see that's is all red and black and comets are falling to earth in every direction. I grab my kids hands and start running as fast as I can. I don't know where but think to myself as long as I am moving we should be OK!

Then all of as sudden a giant comet is over head and I can't out run it.

A high pitched sound rings in my ears, which is then followed by silence. And I realize I have died, (which I thought you can't do in dreams?). I am standing on floating object that is slowly taking me through a cluster of huts floating on water, the water is aqua blue and all the huts have one or more people inside them.

I don't know if what I was dreaming was heaven or not. But I felt as if it was, it felt very calming, peaceful and tranquil.

I want to know has anyone else had dreams of the world ending and why was I able to die in my dream?

thanks everyone for your comments in my dream my children were 6 and 7 which is still frightening but I do not think the world will end this year as predicted. But if we do not learn to work together, (you cannot get peace by using conflict) I think that within the next 5 years the world as we know it will end.

Hi NaturalScience,

I don't know how much time you have to read, but a recent book I just finished (in two days as it was so good) was a book by Daniel Pinchbeck about 2012. One of the many points I found interesting was the rate of exponential change in mankind. I don't have it in front of me but it went something to the effect of how we change faster and faster and faster until that change almost becomes overnight. Each "age" of mankind is ten times faster than the last. We are on the verge of morphing, for better or for worse.

I do follow my precognition because they so often come true, and I'm not talking the generic "who's on the phone" stuff but deaths, disasters and such. I have been going along my merry way but just this year, something really tugged at me to start preparing for off the grid living. I'm so very lucky in that I have acreage and a green thumb and just this spring I started my own organic farm (for amusement you can see it here at www.anniesfarm.com). I now grow all my own fruits and vegetables and have a year's supply of food (and a hundred other off-the-grid details, too many to mention).

Disasters happen all of the time. For me, it's always best to be prepared no matter what. Have you seen the video footage after Hurricane Andrew? No thanks, I'd rather be called a prepper and stay away from the mayhem than be the victim.

Don't feel your time is in vain. We simply cannot sustain this current paradigm. I don't know if this story will still be on msnbc.com if you go there now, but front page is the horrendous trash and plastic pile accumulating in our oceans. It's sickening. We will be our own demise.

If you have private questions, feel free to shoot me an email at my new account, annemoss65[at]gmail.com. I don't want to take over 'chelsiemayk88' thread here 😁

Best wishes.
Anne

Hi AnneV! You wrote:

I ardently long for this event to finally come, for it would be mercy as compared with what we will go through continuing our current "idolatry of money and tech" ways. For me, personally, it would be even a chance to be thrown back to village living patterns. I was better prepared for this pattern when I was a kid than for the modern ways, and I had to suffer more than just a bit for "being out of time".
Now I am no longer better prepared, I'm afraid, having adapted to modern patterns and forgotten most of my pre-industrial skills... But I suppose this effect of social conditioning could be reversible. Perhaps still I am bound to be among the Cataclysm Survivors, though I don't deserve it no more.

When I was ten, some months after having suffered a major psychological shock, I started having a habit of sitting in a corner for hours running, "inventing stories" as I called it. The story I was "inventing" was about a cataclysm which I and some few other humans were lucky enough to survive. I was the one, in the story, who went out the day after to seek other survivors. I never came farther than to the scenes when I found them, and when I led them to my mother's house and her acre of land to live there. In my kid's mind I imagined the disaster to be a nuclear accident, me being accidentally protected by having many items in my place which were made out of lead - I still did not know that lead will only keep radiation away when worn upon the body.

My feeling when "inventing" this story was that the thing I did was MORE than just inventing, but having learned that there is no such thing as precognition and that it were sinful to believ e in clairvoyance (Catholic dogma says such things) I of course never dared even to frankly THINK it could be such a thing. (In Catholic dogma, which I strictly adhered to until my 20th year, even thoughts that contradict the dogma are sins and to be absolutely avoided...)

But I kept it in mind, and some years later, at the start of 1980s, I changed my perspective upon future to expecting a major world economy disaster. I thus regarded the "story", at least in my personal life, as a kind of premonition.

Now it is May 2012 and still nothing in direction of "back to the villages" has happened. I've been waiting since 1975, and consciously preparing since that time too, from '75 until 2002, when personal circumstances forced me into a more "average" pattern of living which took the main part of my pre-industrial fitness away. DammIt! How long will I still have to wait? Hope the event won't come too late, at a time when I am no longer fit and hopeful enough to take it as a chance for MY REAL LIFE, or to be useful to others...

well I think lots of people dream dreams about comets and other things but I don't think your envisioning the end of the world the mayans predicted. There have been so many prediction about the end of the world that it is even funny anymore. It could be that you dreaming about the end but just know that the mayans were under attack and were terrorized by the spanish and pretty much killed off. But I wouldn't worry about it ending this year and don't be one of those people that are going to commit suicide because there scared kay, I'm just kiddin':)
Blessed be.

I dreamt that I died in a dream once. Except I died in a flood.
It could also be from stuff you've been hearing/reading...Stuff you read, watch, listen to etc can and will affect you're dreams even if you're not thinking about that stuff. (Happened to me.)

i also had a vision of the same thing. I was walking one day, about two or three years ago, and completely collapsed, horrified at what I was seeing... The comets and the fire and the terror. But I did not see it as 2012. I have all the same questions as you do, I don't understand what happened. All I know is that it changed me. Reading this, I'm glad to know there is someone else out there who saw something similar too. At least we know we aren't crazy! Just don't live with fear about it, if it happens it happens. And if it does, something better is to come out of it.

It is rare (though possible) to dream you died in a dream. I dreamt I died once and the feeling of peace was so profound it stuck with me for a whole week. Nothing phased me in physical life.
I personally think I did go to the astral place of healing but that's a different story.

So the question begs, how old were the children in the dream?

I have had dreams of asteroids hitting too. I go daily to www.spaceweather.com, and have for over a decade, and I see a big uptick in near earth asteroids so either we are entering a new band of comets or we just have better technology for tracking. Either way, it's possible. Sure we travel around the sun but we also travel through space. Every second we are somewhere new and always potentially in the line of asteroid fire. I also had a startling remote viewing session a few years back. I was trying to RV the future and I had this very clear image appear of an earth bound asteroid. I then heard NASA conversations on how they were going to try and alter its projected path to hit earth. Do you know what several top psychics are predicting (ones good enough either with their own tv show or featured on other shows)? They are predicting some event that returns us to village living. What you describe would do that. If something so catastrophic were to land in the ocean, the tidal wave could wipe out large land masses, cause subsequent volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and even tilt the earth off its axis (and who knows what it would do to the magnetosphere).

I hate to sound dire but comets aside, we're killing the planet faster than we can recuperate. If you only knew how polluted China is, the oil killing so much of the sea/gulf, junk in our air, food and water, trash islands floating in the pacific the size of two Texases, Japan's Fukashima still radiating out of control, you'd know we're on a fast track to that Mayan prediction. People think the end of the world might be some big boom but it could (and at this rate "will") also be self annihilation. In fact, I personally think the only thing to save mankind from mankind itself is a massive planetary crisis. We simply refuse to change our ways. This is the whole reason I wrote the article called, "Our Spirituality Is All That Remains "

Now is the time to be extra mindful of our soul's purpose and how we treat one another because the end is more near than we want to believe and the stuff we think matters, doesn't really a matter at all in comparison to how far we've evolved in this lifetime.
