How Do I Focus This Gift

I have never had anything like this happen. Three years ago I became disabled, my life slowed from active to nearly non active. I was on the phone with a friend that lives 1000 miles away. Her daughter came into the room complaining she lost her phone, suddenly I saw were it was. I told my friend it was on her bed in plain sight and she said she had looked, I told her to look again. She got up and went into the room and there it was. The child hasn't stayed in the room all summer due to she thinks the dolls she got when her grandmother passed were watching her, so we are both baffled the phone was there, but it gets more weird. As soon as she found the phone, I saw a picture of the bottom of her bed were the covers would be hitting the floor. I told her you're going to think I'm nuts, but there is something there that someone is looking for but overlooked it more than once, so she humored me and looked. There was a lottery ticket that was bought the day before. She asked her DH and he said yes he lost it and couldn't find it. Now I have these pictures, like in a kids view finder, over and over. At the same time that happened, at night I see balls of light and something peaking around the corner with my peripheral vision. I actually see it move back and forth. I don't feel it is bad, matter of fact it makes me feel comforted. That should scare the heck out of anyone. This started this past Sat. My friend says I have a gift, but I'm a skeptic of everything, or at least I was. Is it a fluke? What do these pictures mean? Most important, have I lost my mind and if not how do I focus this gift if it is meant to be. The pictures started Sat and continue. And all are when I am totally wake. No dreams or nightmares

I understand exactly about meditation. Just the sound of it made me just want to reject it. I also spin in my own head and so the idea of clearing all thought--seemed impossible. I also am in a quiet environment.

The best thing I have run across is to just stop for a while, close your eyes and count backward from 100, counting each breath as you do. The counting keeps your minds semi-engaged but the breathing will tend to relax you. It's not any big deal, just a way to get more in touch with your own body.

Whether or not this will help the visions you see is questionable in my mind (altho I don't want to sound discouraging). It really does sound like your precognitions of these disasters is part of your journey and won't let you alone until you learn to... Use them in whatever way you are supposed to.

Many people first become aware of the negative events because the emotion of them are stronger. (It very much sounds like you are an empath--feeling the emotion in the scenes). But after a time, many become in tune with other more positive events that will happen in the future.

Hope you're doing OK with this. I haven't been out here in a while.

I have been doing a lot of research. Meditation seems to be the one thing that helps everyone. I have never tried it, to clear my mind. Right now this seems so hard. Since being disabled, me, myself and I have a very cluttered mind. I always over think, basically to rationalize and work through everything. It's not like I have a lot to do. I live in a very rural country location. So quiet is all around me. If anything, even if I find out I am not seeing things, at the very least, to think of nothing and have an empty mind would be welcomed. I appreciate everyone that responded, it really helped me get passed that fear. 😁

I guess the only good thing is, I can't push them back to an out of focus thought. There is will they stay, I hope, until I can better understand this.

No I'm not seeing the images of what has been found.

The images I am seeing over and over and over again while I'm awake are horrible earth disasters, now yesterday, say noon ish a larger image of a man made disaster has come to the forefront.
But they all flash by, kind of like a view finder toy, but fast and very clear. Needless to say they are disturbing. I have been trying to rationalize these pics. Is it something I saw in the past? Or maybe in a movie? Strange I don't watch movies with blood and guts or war or scary movies. I have NEVER seen such images in my life! All I can say is DAMN, the mind is a confusing and terrifying place.

I feel terrified when seeing them. Like great dispare, heart ache, panic... All the feelings as a mother, I really don't like having. And my fear is playing right into them, yet I'm fine. See, it's this stuff, that makes me question my own situation, stress, outside influence...I'm a major septic of my own mind now,,,,,,, 😕

So after you have gotten these images, like the location of the the friend's phone, lot lottery ticket, you continue to see them over and over in your head? Even after they have found them?

The repetition of the visions is interesting, almost like you are meant to understand more about them than you currently do. I'm wondering what else your guides might want you to understand about them. Is this a mechanism your brain uses to make sure you don't lose them? Are you supposed to tie these images to something else? To each other? Is there an entity sending the thoughts over and over to you? It is confusing.

Do you feel anything as they flash in your mind? There is an answer and sometime you will understand. I have SO often had to accept that I wasn't going to know the answers until it was time to know the answers. And the "right time" is something I don't yet understand. When I have tried everything to figure them out I have to just sit back and trust that all I need to know I will know.

You are developing very quickly so some of this also may be your physical body adjusting to the interface.

Just some wild guessing on my part. You will know someday is all I can say! 😕

Well,,,,hmmmm, I was expecting, your a complete nut job! But no,,,,,,this makes me a little nervous. The pictures in my head flash by, but after over and over, I have a pretty good idea what each are and I do not like what they are. They are all earth events. Some days I'm certain it will happen, then I go through, this is crap and it's not real... Ugg I hope it's not real... But how do you know what is and isn't real when it feels so real sometimes in my gut. So confusing and scary, a bit... Now I feel lost...

I agree with Anne that in some way the loss in one area may have accelerated the other spiritual area. I myself began to get weird things like popping in my ears and roaring sounds when I woke from sleep--when I had been in bed for four years with barely enough energy to shower each day. I eventually researched Out of Body experiences and had a wonderful one at that time (now 3.5 years ago). I haven't been able to have another one since.

But I do believe that illness can in some ways weaken the energetic/physical bonds somewhat and allow more freedom of your spiritual self to explore.

Bless you for seeing this and not focusing on what has changed your life. It took me much longer to adjust!

I also see the balls of light (orbs) both internally (third eye) and outside. After a long time of seeing the orbs (and being comforted by them, as you) I have been seeing even brighter flashes from the sides (when eyes are closed). Recently I got the information that "after someone is in a place, their residual energy stays"--which wasn't news to me, but I think means that this was not "me" leaving but someone else visiting and having left.

It will unfold differently for us all, but it seems to me you are concentrating on exactly what you should be in order to transcend the situation you are in. Again, good on you for finding it so seamlessly.

This really reminds me of what a blind person goes through. When a person becomes blind, the energies previously used on the eyes start to focus on other senses. They can hear much better, they can begin to sense outside the normal senses and such. Going from a totally active life to a non active life has re-channeled your strengths. Kind of like a person who can no longer walk, pretty soon they get really large arms because now it's now that body part that has to do more work.

I don't think these are flukes. Sounds exactly like remote viewing, which you'd probably become quite proficient at if you pursued it.

And [at] [SearcherSeeker] don't be discouraged by those cards. Reading from a computer is rarely easy.

I'm totally new to this site and was looking for other people who may experience sudden onset of psychic ability. I, too, seem to all of a sudden be psychic to a degree. Interestingly, I am also disabled and not active. Maybe our brains were looking for more action or maybe people with more room to listen are chosen? I am sorry I can't help you, but I find it fascinating that this is happening to someone else. I have been getting impressions through daydreams and dreams at night of some big changes that are coming in the world and now I believe, because of the recent psychic thoughts of mine that have come true, that this worldwide picture may be accurate. I tried the test on this site with the ESP cards and I failed. I don't know what to think...
