Hearing Demonic Voices

It began three-four months ago. I was on the verge of falling asleep when I heard this voice saying, "Leave this world behind." I was, understandably, scared awake. The voice was weird and I couldn't tell if it was male or female. It had this echo quality about it and it was somewhat light and airy.

Last night I had a 'dream' but it also had voices. During the 'dream' my body felt like it was being dragged off the bed and voices were calling my name. I only heard three during the dream; one slightly high pitched and sounding crazier than the other two, another had a distinctive British accent, and the last had a deep, deep voice.

I remember feeling, during the dream, that it was, in fact, a dream. It was more of a suppressed feeling though. But when I woke up, I forgot what was said. I do remember one of them patting the side of my face and another one saying something very vulgar. At one point the high pitched and the British voices started laughing. But everything else is pretty blurry.

When I'm laying down with my else closed, I'll see a white light behind my eyes and I'll feel strange to put it lightly.

I've tried to contact whatever they are, but they don't respond with words. That's most likely my fault, so can I have some tips? But I don't know if I want to talk to them. I'm not scared of them, no, and I've made that fairly sure with them, but I do believe that they may be demons. And I don't want them near my family.

Is there anyway to get rid of them? So far I'm clueless on this.

There is horrible evil and beautiful goodness. Unstable, warped, and dark spirits I shun ASAP.
Say and believe firmly that they go away...
Ask for help in god if you feel it necessary...
Believe in you and your abilities, though they may still whisper to you they have no power, if you believe in your powers... Faith in you... Faith in a higher power...

In the end this is proof of an afterlife... So take solace in this... Paul

The easiest way to know if demons are around is when the voices start tell them "leave this house in the name of God" if they're demons they will react in some way but he's right to it could be in you're head there's not enough info to deciminate the two

In my professional opinion, based on the limited information you have presented, what you appear to be describing are auditory hallucinations that are experienced upon falling asleep known as "hypnogogic auditory hallucinations." These are normal hallucinations and happen to many people. A wide range of extrasensory-like experiences can be triggered by altered states of consciousness (ASC's) like hypnogogia, including visions of lights, symbols, and complex design pat-terns. In addition, individuals may encounter auditory experiences such as voices, music, and inner sounds or mantras. Individuals experiencing ASC's may also experience a loss of sense of self or out-of-body experiences due to disruption of the proprioceptive system.

ASC's that may lead to increased extrasensory-like experiences include hypnosis, sensory deprivation (e.g. Ganzfeld), chemical and hallucinogenic substance use, physical exertion (e.g. Through running, dancing, martial arts), rhythmic sounds or music, fasting, dehydration, hyperventilation, and energetic body-work such as reiki, chakra balancing, qi gong, tai chi, yoga, and other forms of meditation and spiritual practices. However, such states may also trigger a wide verity of distressing and sometimes frightening experiences and "spiritual crises" (e.g. Spiritual transformation or opening) and other negative effects such as anxiety, dissociation, depersonalization, agitation, terrifying visions, and muscular tension.

Treatment involves discontinuing any practice you may be engaging in mentioned above (for example if you are a regular meditator, as these will increase the likelihood of hypnogogic hallucinations), and engaging in alternative "grounding" exercises. Such "grounding" exercises may include daily light physical exercise or creative arts (e.g. Hiking, walking, gardening, swimming, sculpting, etc.). Trying doing one of these earlier in the day. If that does not help, try doing it right before going to bed. If you have been recently put on a medication or supplement by a physician, I highly recommend making an appointment with your physician to discuss your hypnogogic experiences and an adjustment in the dosage of the medication; as increased hypnogogic experiences can be a side effect of some medications and even supplements.

Best of luck!
