My Past Life

My name is Mandy. I'm 21 years old and have been having these visions into my past life since I was a child. So I researched my family history but found nothing relevant to the time period I keep having visions about.

You see, at totally random times, maybe at night right before a deep sleep, or maybe when I'm on my way to work or school and my eyes kind of focus on one thing but my mind swims back in time for mere minutes which is always around the time of King Henry VIII. I have dreams about it too, very vivid, and sometimes disturbing. I also find myself quoting facts about that time period that I knew nothing of previously and have never read anywhere before. Sometimes when I close my eyes I see like a movie playing inside my head; always different, always changing, but never actually changing.

One dream I'll never forget, I was in this dark room, with only 1 candle. I was dressed in fine clothes for that time period. I felt my hair which was pinned up with a hood. A door opened and a man with dark eyes and hair came towards me and said something to me, but I couldn't understand. I felt myself shaking my head and trying to say something, but I couldn't. He grabbed my hand and led me down a long brightly lit corridor and stopped at a huge door at the opposite end. It opened for me and this gentleman as if by magic, and when I walked in there was some sort of party. Some people were dancing, some drinking deeply, others just standing around looking at everyone in the room like me. Then a woman came up to me. She was not very pretty and she was tall, way taller than I was. She also had dark hair and eyes like the gentleman who brought me there. She was laughing very jovially and she stood in front of me smiling, and all I heard was "Oh, Lady, why aren't you dancing?" When I woke up, I had to shake myself back to reality. I even remember smelling a faint stench of cooked food and smoke.

Has anyone else experienced something like this.

I understand what you're saying about knowing facts about subjects you've never studied before. I, too, experience that, only differently. When I read labels on shampoo bottles (I know, I'm a dork!), there are sometimes Latin names for the ingredients listed, and I can understand what the ingredient is, and I have never studied Latin. I am also very good at almost all subjects in school, especially English, Spanish, and French. For example, if we study a new grammar principle in French, most of my class will not get it, but I, for some reason, understand it right away. I say, "I don't know why, but it makes complete sense to be that way." It gives me a feeling that in a past life, I was a scholar of some sort.

I also feel connections to certain past events and eras. I feel a very deep connection with the Victorian Age, and Native Americans (as I am descendant of them). I get flashes in my head of, like you said, vivid images; I get dreams; and I can quote facts I would not have known otherwise.

Just thought I'd share my story!

A friend of mine had a dream kind of like that. The dream man's name was Adrian. When he awoke from this dream, he still WAS Adrian. He didn't understand why he was in this strange house, away from the place he needed to be (he had been guiding people away from some kind of 'darkness' that was following them).

He had a vivid recollection of 26 or 27 years of memories, from where he had grown up, where he lived (on the east coast, and we live in Washington state), serving in the military, and even a little girl who lived down the street from him when he was just a boy.

When he woke up, he armed himself with a hockey stick and explored his house. His dad, half asleep, had to convince him that he was Travis, not Adrian. Only after looking into a mirror and seeing himself did he rediscover himself.

It is very real, what you experienced. Perhaps it was a glimpse of your past self, or a hint of your family history.

The tall woman called you Lady. The man and woman's eyes were odd. Try researching it. Perhaps murders, deaths, or disappearances of royalty in the time of Henry VIII? If you have more dreams that offer you names that you can look into, then search for them. They may lead you on an interesting journey.

I remember bits of my last life. It was in I think the late 1800s and I have a old clothes and a top hat. Not like rich clothes though, just decent. And I'm walking around my town looking at houses and other places, gothic like buildings and black iron fences just wandering, as I still do now at times. I had my strange sense of places and things then. But not my few other gifts. I think I looked real simular. I always feel lost and alone. A very lost soul. I still feel that way now at times. Especial when I am out wandering.
