Real Psychic Experiences

My Son Has a Gift

My 15 year old son has had a lot of psychic experiences throughout his life. I started noticing this when he was only about 2 years old and there were so many that I can't even recall a lot of them. A few examples are as follows:

When he was about 2 1/2, we went as a family to an outdoor festival downtown, enjoyed ourselves and were waiting for the city bus to arrive so we could get home. As we were waiting, I was admiring the historical building across the street and my thoughts wandered to the pipes or chimney stacks that were sticking out of the roof. I had no idea what they were for. Just as I was thinking this, little Ben pipes up "Mom (never Mommy, always Mom, he's a very serious person) what are they?" I asked him what he meant and he said "the chimneys..." I was kind of taken by surprise and knelt down beside his stroller to see if he could see them from that low level. He couldn't. He couldn't even see any of the roof.

There were little things all the time, everyday things, like I would be thinking of this or that for lunch and he'd tell me that he'd rather have one or the other of what I was thinking about. He'd tell me he wanted to stay home when I would be thinking about whether I wanted to go out shopping or not.

He was very close to his uncle, who had a friend who lived around the corner from us. One day I thought I saw him drive by in that direction. I wondered if he'd stop by for coffee. Ben pipes up "Is Uncle Rocky coming over?"

The Uncle Rocky thing is another example. Ben started calling Uncle Ronny -Uncle Rocky. I thought it was so cute and Ronny just laughed and laughed about it. I wanted to know what was so funny and my husband told me that Ronny's nickname in high school was Rockin' Ronny and that eventually got shortened down to just Rocky. I was amazed because it was something I had never known or heard of until that very minute.

When my youngest son was little he had a severe speech impediment and we had a really hard time understanding him. From the time my youngest started talking until it was corrected at around 6 years old, Ben was the only one who always knew what he was saying. He was our interpreter.

Ben's 15 now and these kind of things don't happen as often any more, at least he doesn't mention it. Maybe I just don't notice as much. Every now and then he'll walk up to me and ask me a question about something and it happens that I was just thinking about it.

He's aware of having these psychic thoughts, and has been for a while, so whenever it happens we just kind of smile about it. He's pretty casual about it. He's asked me why but I don't have an answer. I just tell him he's special.

Angela, the things you've described (you thinking of your forgotten bananas and your son asking if they are good for you) are exactly the same things that would happen and still do, quite often. Backhandgrip, I agree with you about the bond with the primary caregiver, there's no doubt in my mind that you're right about that. There's just more to it than that. Ben has these experiences with everyone at times. Thank you to everyone for your comments and thanks for reading my story.

The bond between primary caregiver and their children is a strong one. I recall my own mother , now deceased, telling me similar stories about me as a small child. I wouldn't be surprised if you think alike and know each other thoughts or how each other would think or act in situations! I do not know if it is intuition or something more. I do know it is his decision if he wants to develop any gift he may have.

i was the same has your son when I was younger with my mum angela and actually a lot of people and I still am, now the best way to descibe this is your son has psychic abilites but I know if tunes into theses throughts and never blocks them out he will discover hugh powers as he grows he young at the moement but he just doesn't realise what hes doing and that frame of his mind and throughts yet but I can understand :)my mum would always laugh and ask how did you know that lol, so let him know hes got this ability in a motherly way its as simple as saying well I was just thinking that or howd you know I was thinking that this will let him understand his mindset.

Funny that I came across this website and this story. My son is 5 and he does things like this with me. I was driving the other day, and was thinking about my father who has passed away, and my son says "I miss Papa". We hadn't been talking about him or anything. Then, during the same trip, I thought that I should have brought those bananas that were on the counter... And he says "Mom, are bananas good for you?". These are just two examples, I understand what you are talking about!
