Is It Deja Vu?

We just moved to this house last summer and ever since then I've been getting feelings of déjà vu. The first time was immediately after we moved in. I was walking down the hall on the second floor. When I got to the landing, I reached out for the railing and froze. Literally, my mind went totally blank. It was like I had dreamed I had done the exact same thing but the thing was, we hadn't lived in the house when I dreamed it (nor were we even in the same state). The feeling only lasted for a couple of seconds before going away. Back then I chalked it off as whatever. A couple months later I was outside on the deck and it happened again. I reached out for the railing in front of the back door and that same feeling hit me again. I froze and was unable to move for a couple of seconds before snapping out of it and chalking it off as another "whatever" thing.

A couple months passed again before anything happened. It was December and I was putting up the tree. Now I'm a seventeen year old girl and I pretty much did all of the tree and the lights and the decorating and I remember feeling so mad because I was the only one doing anything. It was late in the evening and I was putting up ornaments on the tree. When I reached up to put one on I froze and this time I could remember doing the exact same thing about a month earlier. The vision I had was me putting up an ornament (it was a little red bulb) on the tree, alone, and at night. The only thing different was that, when this actually happened, my family was behind me talking to each other.

The last feeling of déjà vu that I can remember happened in February when I was talking to my friend in the school library. We had never been in the library together before this. My friend and I were sitting in two of the arm chairs in the corner and when I bent down to tie my shoe and I froze, this time for about 30 seconds. My friend had asked me what was wrong and all I could tell her was, "I think I've done this with you before."

I really don't know what to make of it. Is it just me? Is it this place? I've never had this kind of thing happen to me anywhere else.

I think it's a good thing. If it's a good place, you should remember it. How? It's not happened yet. Is time really that strict? I don't like rules. Remembering the future is perhaps part of what young people will attempt to do in some way. I think that it is possible.

I actually enjoy déjà vu. Sometimes it won't happen for months, then it will happen four or five times in one week. It's sorta enjoyable, as awkward as it is.
If you feel you have dreamt the moment before, start a dream diary. Keep it by your bed so that as soon as you awake, you can jot down everything you remember. Sometimes emotions trigger it, so even if you woke up feeling a certain way, jot that down as well. With time, you'll remember more and more and when something does happen that you dreamed, you'll know why.
From what I read, you and I experience the same 'sort' of it... And I'm not 100% on what it means YET. The dream diary/journal has helped a lot, and I DO believe it is a form of precognition.

deja vu is a form of precognition. Most likely we have dreamed this scene before and forgotten it and later it comes to pass. Why is it happening now? Could be a stronger electromagnetic influence in this new house area. Also could be a change in YOUR electromagnetic and/or biochemical signature. It might develop into something stronger... Or it might not. It depends on how you feel about it.

I have déjà vu as well. Sometimes I'll be doing something when I will think for a moment and say "Hey, I think I did this before", it comes and goes now and then.

I've perused the writings of others on this site and it seems that your déjà vu could be a form of pre-cognition. I also notice that this seems to happen a lot when you touch things, which in this case could mean you have the ability to pick up the energies of others through touch and touching objects. Check out the web-master's main page for an explanation.
My fiancé has the same experiences, and I'm certain it is just an undeveloped talent lurking in the shadows.
Good Luck!

I know what you mean about feeling that you've done it before without having done it before if that makes sense. But it doesn't sound very strong maby its just that you have great intuition. Either way it doesn't sound to bad, and I've never hear of a place makeing people sense or foresee anything before. I've dreamt things as a kid that didn't mean anything until years and years later people, places anything and everything but you never know until its happening and by then there's little you can do so don't worry to much. Hope you get the iformation you were looking for good luck 😁

im not sure? I always grab for the rail when I walk down stairs its a natural thing but to think you may have done a thing befor hand could mean you jest that about it a head of time watched your self do it and than repeat later like a befor hand vision I have them a lot when I'm at school are when I'm sleep the day be for a big event. 🤔
