Bible Brings Her Back

A few days ago, my step brothers, my boyfriend, and my nephew were in the living room playing the Wii. My step mom and my dad's friend were in the dining room, sitting at the table, talking about a woman whom my step mom knew years ago. I stood on my knees beside them, listening to the conversation. The woman she was talking about had passed away some 15 or 20 years ago and when her children cleaned out her apartment after her death, they had left their mother's Bible and journal. Her Bible was her everything. She was a very religious woman.

The Bible she was talking about was lying on the table in front of me. I picked it up, studied it, looked at the rips and cracks in the pink leather case. I was holding it for about two seconds when my eyes zeroed in on a particular crack on the bible, I couldn't move and everything around me sort of faded out. The voices of my step mom and my dad's friend faded out to silence. In my head or my "mind's eye" as my grandmother calls it, I saw a flash of a thin faced woman with blond poofy hair, and a red and blue shirt on. I immediately fumbled the Bible and dropped it on the table. (This whole experience lasted about three seconds). I held my head with my hand, I had become very dizzy. I went to my room to calm down. When I came out of my room, I went to my step mom and asked her what the woman looked like, so that I could have some closure on what had just happened. She said "Oh, she was a thin woman with kind of messy blond hair." When she said that, my eyes watered and I smiled. Soon after I went to my room to think about what had just happened, and how I felt about it.

Keep in mind, I have never met this person in my life, but my step mom knew her.

Thank you for the information!

I don't know if I want to try to develop it or not. This is how I see it... I'm a believer in my savor, Jesus Christ. I pray about my gift from time to time and If God wants my gift to get better, then ill let it. So far, when I pray I tell him to give me what he wants and he has made it more apparent that he wants my gift to get better because its been happening more often.

I might contact her thought anyways because I'm kind of new to this and I have a lot of questions.

Thanks so much! ❤

Hi Gretchen,

Just wanted to drop a note and let you know that there is a tonne of information for budding young psychics out there on bookshelves these days. Thank goodness too because when I was growing up in the 70's (pre-internet) it was a desert.

I recognize your experience above as something called psychometry and its a very useful skill to help find missing persons if you can develop it. Psychometry is the ability to pick up information about a person who has had contact with that object -from the object. Its almost like a bloodhound picking up the scent but in this case you are left with 'impressions' or bits of information. An acquaintance of mine has used this gift to help solve hundreds of cases with the police. As you can imagine it can be emotionally trying but that is for each of us to decide what good we can make of our gift. If you have any questions you can pose them to the dear Abbey of psychics (Monica Holy) on her 'ask the fringe dweller' page and she'll do her utmost to help out.

Namaste
Nikki
