You know this all started when I tried to satnd up for someone else, who was in the same sitution I am currently in.

You missed the point of War World 2 and your right about War World 1. Point was no 2 peoples have the exact same interpertation of events in history.

Americans and the Allied forces nearly lost the war and the casualities in porportion to other wars were the highest.

Already do I have read savereal books about cultures of different countries, as well as their history in their words. Sometimes their is a slight difference but most agree with one another. Beside I never been interested in World War 2, you hear about it all the time, I mean it is everywhere. I am more interested in World War 1, espically since it is rarely talked about.

The history channel is written by people who are in favor of point of views. I read about other culturals from prospective belief and not just history. In American History Books WWII goes in great detail but not so in Japanese where it is paragraph at most.

To have more rounded approach you need to look at the cultural past times to understand where they are coming from.

AS for the news I find that Americans tend to sugarcoat the events around the world to make more papable to the viewers. Also the news can be so slanted the best source of the news is John Stewarts: the Daily Show. In this statement it is really sad. Also I find BBC the most neutral of news.

Japanese cartoons, I don't watch that junk. Everything is misshapened, I only watch the history channel and the news.
