Intuitive Empath Can't Practice Beliefs Because Of System

Yeah, That's right. I am seventeen, just a seemingly regular out here In Southwest Florida. If only it had been that way I would be able to enjoy the phases of high school on to my career path. Thing is, It's been a struggle achieving my goal as an artist, both culinary and canvas/ceramic work type. I've been told by authority (the kind I presumed we could count on as being a part of my younger generation,) that I'd constantly struggle, and without a diploma in my hand and some up-to-standard history I won't make enough money to live a happy life. Now, behind all this I see it as lights way of presenting a challenge, but It's quite the pickle I've stumbled In. I'm striving to heal, meditate, create, and use my abilities as an empath to teach others about the life around them that they are not capable of seeing-that is depending on the perception they are in. Daily I attend school, literally sit at my desk absorbing and blocking energies in repeated cycles defending them from distracting me from my classwork. The kids Don't take school seriously either, the white noise has driven me to think that I am somewhat wasting my time living so average. My awareness is not average. This puts me to believe that I should be practicing more constructive duties in life. What I practice and believe in is not biased on power, ego, or money. There is no competition to me. I don't want to imagine myself not 'making' it out in this world because I experience life on a different frequency. How would somebody, who has such a god given gift, be able to make enough of this "money" to live a happy life, doing only what they love?

Your first and most fatale mistake is self-centeredness. You used the word I quite a few times in your post. If you are truly gifted then you are right, it is from God not god and it is His gift that He has loaned you. Your main goal in life should be to seek His will for your life and the gift He has given you. If you get a Bible and read and really seek His will and ask Him how it is that you are to use this gift to His glory, He will bless you beyond measure. If you try to use a God given gift to make money you will never prosper and worse be cursed. I have a question, have you ever asked where the gift came from, you said god with a little g and there is no god with a little that has the power to grant you spiritual gift so if I was you, I would start consentrating on our Holy Creator Yaweh. Remember it is not about you at all but it is all about Him.

Let me tell you, I was completely amazed of how much a like we are. I'm 17 years old and I consider myself an artist, months ago my parents started asking me what I was going to study (at that time I was really focus on my art, as you know you get to love your own work so much that you need to make more a more pieces) They have been telling me since my freshman year that I need to study something that will pay my bills, my own art teacher has told me that you will get starved if you choose the path of an artist (really sad) but as you know is completely TRUE! The life of an artist is really unfair; you need something more than talent, creativity and ideas. (Contacts and people that can help you get into that world, and at this age it is really difficult to find someone like that) I'm not the best of the best in my school; I'm an artist but not only that. I love to help people and I was born with great qualities that not only help me with my art but if you apply them in another field you can make great things, because we as artists see things differently, we have imagination, perception and amazing skills of observation. I'm currently going to study nursing and I'll apply my skills to help my patients. I'm planning to join the Peace Corps and keep painting. You have gifts and you think like not many people do and that's what the world needs, sadly you need money as well... There are a lot of great things out there that you can do and try my point is; do something that you are good at, that you love but that will help you as well. I'm not interested in money that's why I want to join the peace corps but I know that in a future I will want to have kids and I will want the best for them as well so I need to have a good career as a backup. Try to find options, you have time! ❤
I wish you the best! 😆

I tried earlier in my life to make life NOT about money and financial security. I wasted a lot of time fighting what I wanted the system to be versus what the system really is. I have been a fool. There is no escaping the practical fact that we need money to survive and not find ourselves living on the street. We need health insurance, housing, transportation, food and clothing. When I was seventeen I couldn't see retirement down the road and now here it is and I fear I will not have enough to live out my days with the basics. My property taxes went up $1600 last year and I am lucky to have a house. On a fixed income $1600 bucks can be the difference between keeping your house and losing it. If you have rent to pay in your older years it will go up and up along with food costs and health care. Get as much education as you can and plan for your future.
We cannot escape the physical aspect of our being. The divine spirit wants us to know that. No one can be perfect because of it, the world cannot be perfect because of it. We are meant to experience trials and tribulations here to make us grow and think.
Very few people have been financially successful in creative or spiritual endeavors but that doesn't mean you have to give that part of yourself up. It means you have to combine it with some kind of money plan for the future.

Love and light...always

LittleWing1023 ~ I understand a lot of what you are going through. I am an intuitive empath as well. I understand how hard it is to be around others and feel what they are going through. Trust me when I say there are techniques that help so you can feel what you want to and block that in which you don't want.
Let me say that having a goal of what you want to do in your life at this age is great. However, Yes this field is a difficult road. I'm not saying not to do what you want career wise in your life, but schooling would help you achieve what you are looking to achieve in your life.
Best Wishes to you
If you can learn how to put the emotion and feeling you get from others into your work that will also help you succeed.
I don't want to sound like the other adults in your life, but from recent experience you do NOT want to go through life with out a HS Diploma. And any extra collage help you can get in this field couldn't hurt.
I have always been one for entrepreneurship. So for that I say go for it! It is a very tough road and one I have been preparing my kids for for years. Yet the one thing I insist on is that they finish high school. Without it in this day and age it would be practically impossible.
Have you thought about how much it will cost you monthly to live the lifestyle you are wanting in the area you wish to live?
Don't use your ability as a crutch use it to your advantage. Maybe you could take the exit test if you have enough credits. Or go to an online school to graduate and get the best technique. Remember you will never stop learning. You may just need to find a way to learn without being in close physical contact with others.
Best wishes

Hey, I don't envy where you're at at all. You're going through one of the hardest times of your life for someone with an ability like yours. High school is all about conformity and fitting in when it comes to the students (at least in their minds), and learning valuable life skills from some people that might or might not be able to understand, sympathize, and give good advice. Gifts and abilities aside, you're in a time where you need to just figure out who you are and how you fit into this messed up world. While a lot of these older people may mean well and think they're doing well, keep in mind that they're not you and they are fallible people too. That being said, this isn't a message conveying that you have all of the answers either. I guess what I'm getting at is if you want to make a career out of painting, go for it, but it most likely won't be easy. I have no doubt that you'll do well in whatever creations of art in any medium that you choose, just be ready for there being possible hardships in the future. And start you research for what art/culinary school you might want to go to after high school. I hear Florida Culinary Insitute is a good school.
