Moved into this house almost 2 years ago. For months I have been seeing a black mass in the corner of our bedroom. I wake up at similar times late at night and there it is. It doesn't appear to move. Does not talk. Does not make a sound, or nothing that I can hear. Sometimes it glows. I just feel uneasy as if I am being watch. It appears at night and usually isn't there when I go to sleep. Sometimes there are flecks of dark green, yellow or gold glowing inside the mass. The edges of the mass is not form and squiggly all over more blob not a figure of a person. The black mass takes up the entire ceiling corner. This corner is a clear view of our bed.
Most recently (within the last week or so, I've noticed) the black mass has changed corners. Now the mass is almost over our bed. This bedroom is always cold. At least 5-10 degrees colder than any other room in the house. Despite my cleaning efforts sometimes this room smells bad. I am unable to locate anything to explain the smell.
Suggestions on what this might be, or any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am planning on smudging (with sage) and praying but would welcome help as I am a novice to this experience. My husband has not seen it. He is usually asleep, I plan trying to record during the night.
Is it a lurker just watching or something more dangerous looming?
There are other areas on the property the feel dark in presence but I have not done any observations for the black masses as of yet.
