Giant Bird With Red Eyes

I slept at the foot of my parents bed until I was 8 or 9 every night 32 of these red static (like white noise but red) blobs would come upstairs (entire upstairs was 1 room and it was my parents) they didn't make noise and it was kind of counting sheep into a nightmare.

After the 32 creatures;I would hear loud thumps and then a Giant Bird with red eyes (they looked like a marble got squashed by a train and didn't break.) It then would reach down and pick me up with its wings and looked at me; I could feel the heat from its breath. At this point I would scream, and it would throw me down on to my parents bed (I got a butt whoopin for jumping while they sleeped) and it would just vanish.

Now that I am older I miss it or the fact that I don't know why it came every night at the same time from birth. (My parents told me as a infant I would cry like I was dying every night at 12:42 am) until I was around 8 or 9 years old.

I did see a post about a similar creature that was posted 8 years ago. I am still really sensitive to dark creatures but have not seen this one again. This creature stayed with me for so long why would it not keep returning?

The feeling I remember was a very dark feeling not scared but what I could imagine a true evil feeling would be.

Has anyone else experienced this type of attachment?

What do you think it could be?

Did I just grow up and stopped believing and that's why it never came back? (It was years before another darkness attached to me, before I started to believe again.)

Thank you everyone for taking the time out of your day and reading my post. I have long for answers and been searching for years with coming up short.
