Seeking Understanding

I'm Kaat and I'm new to this site and I'm seeking information on some things that have happened in my life. Two very unusual things have happened more than once in my life.

1. I don't know the name of this psychic ability. I can only explain it. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it. For some strange reason I can "sense" (not see) just sense when someone has died and is visiting loved ones to say goodbye. I've had people think I'm crazy until they find out that their loved one died the same time I felt a presence. I'll be honest I don't see or know who the person is, it's like someone is invisible and watching over us. I get a warm, caring "no harm" feeling. I know it sounds a bit off. It has only happened a few times and each time I ask the person who is with me "who is in the hospital or really ill right now?" They usually give me a name and that is the person who has passed.

P.S. If anyone knows how to improve this ability please help. Thank you

2. I also have had strange waking dreams, usually a precursor to a very negative situation about to happen. It's gotten so negative that I'm starting to hate having this ability. I had a friend set me up with a guy. We got along together very well. When he invited me over to his house he gave the tour of each room. When he showed me the bathroom, he came up behind me and put his arms around me. I looked into the mirror I saw a different reflection of him and I saw him in a white jacket, black tie tuxedo and I was in a vanilla wedding dress. If that wasn't weird enough the mirror started to crack and crumbled down. I had no clue why I had that vision. I just knew it was bad. About a month and a half later he died in a car accident. Ever since then I'm afraid my visions and have ignored them. My goal is to understand these visions and how can I make them more positive or can I? I appreciate any help.

Hello.

Welcome...we agree with xCSxNightflare. All of us here are not crazy nor are we enemies. We are all part of something bigger than us that, whether we like it or not, connects us. Now... This is clairsentience and future-seeing. There are two types of future-seeing. The more direct, rought and OUT THERE visions that are easy to understand, and the more hidden with meaning little reflective ones that only show methaphors and similes and are harder to decipher. Clearly, you have the second one. All abilities are opened up more by epening your Third Eye chakra, and they are controlled by learning to shield. On our MySpace, we have a blog for shielding. Research your chakras. We hope this is of help.

Kaat, no one on this sight is crazy. We are all friends here. You're not a freak, you're not a super hero, you're not a mutant. You're a human being. We all have gifts, but most on this sight have unlocked them, know how to use them... Don't worry about a thing... ❤ Nightflare (Brandon)

To:Doublemint, jacindablue, and Deep Thinker, Just a quick note to say thank you for your time and knowledge. When I try to explain my experiences to some of my friends they think I'm crazy. I am searching to understand why I experience these things and use them to help myself and others.
So again thank you.

I tried that and I had a get friend mad at me. Now I really don't say anything unless I am very close to the person or they ask for my help. What I really worry about is "people will think that I am crazy or what if I am wrong?" I remember when I was 13 I was sitting with my friend and he was shooting his bb gun towards a cinder block wall. I heard a voice telling me to move to a lawn chair. I ignore the voice, thinking I'm schizoid. The voice started yelling at me, and finally I moved from that spot I was at to a lawn chair 2 yards away. Two shots later the bb ricochets back to where I was previously sitting. My friend and I stopped and I sat back in that spot I had moved from. Long story short the bb would have gone through my right eye. I did not tell anyone that story for years, because I thought they would to try to institutionalize me. So I try to follow some guidelines of only help when asked or I feel very comfortable telling that person. God I hope I am making sense.
Take Care and thank you for your help.

I have a question for you Kaat... If you do have this ability then have you considered using it and warning that person so that they can live life to its fullest better nowing that they will (or might) die? I do not judge what's true and what's not, so I am open to wutever you have to say.

Hi Kaat! I am not sure what book Doublemint was referring too, but I read Sonia Choquette's A Psychic's Pathway and it was very comforting. Instantly I felt more intuned. Also when I journal and surrounded in complete silence. I too am looking for a way to increase my ablities. I completely understand not feeling like you are in control. I am not sure if some people are destined to certain themes, but I have a tendency to get precognitive dreams about births and relationships and my mother tends to have visions about death. There is nothing to be afraid of because death is a natural stage of transformation. Just have faith that you will always be alright. You also may want to try listening to hayhouseradio.com they have a live radio stream that you can listen to many different psychics and spiritual enthusiasts. I also listen to spiritual podcasts on itunes to help with the positivity. Positivity tends to be the biggest helper in fine tuning the gift and feeling at ease.

Best wishes

Kaat, your gift of sight is beginning to open clairsentience (feeling) sensing things around you. Visions are a part of this I suggest reading > Simply Psychic by Ann Caulfield < to help you understand what is happening. Sonia Choquette good reading very beneficial. As far as your abilities go don't rush it be patient stay calm arming yourself with knowledge helps remove doubt and fear. Try to think positive if you feel negativity slipping in use music that is upbeat or soft to change the feeling. There will be days and nights when visions come through very strong practice grounding and balancing your chakras. Surround yourself in a bubble of protective white light before you sleep and the moment you wake, if you feel icky during the day use the white light again. Come here to the website good support system. Remember you are the one doing the driving, when you look in that mirror put on a happy face.
Peace and Light
