Sorry if this is long please read. I'm 13 years old and have always had an ability to sense the energy of people, animals, and spirits. It's hard to explain what it feels like when I sense the energy, but no one else can feel it that I know. Only two of my friends can, but they are not interested in their abilities. My mom does not believe in spirits aura etc. And my dad does. My parents are divorced and I live with my mom. They have been this way since I was in kindergarten. I have an older brother who's interested in that stuff, but I don't talk to him about it. It doesn't feel right. I don't like talking about my ability with my dad, but I might be able to talk to his friend who is a psychic. She has helped my dad a lot.
I'm on this site in secret and my parents don't know about it. I wish I could meet other people with my ability who actually like to learn more about their abilities and make them stronger. I have sensed three spirits in my room. Two are males and I don't know them. The other I saw her face and told my dad. He said it sounded like his mom and he showed me a picture. The lady in the picture looked like the spirit I saw in my room. She was there a second and gone the next. My grandma on my dad's side died when I was a baby.
Whenever I sense a spirit I feel my own energy over flowing and I can't control it. My grandmother isn't around me much it's usually the other spirits. One is bad I can tell by the bad energy I sense coming from it, but it never harms me, but it seems to hate all my friends for no reason. I can't see or hear spirits, very rarely will I be able to do that. The other spirit is a young dude and for some reason he has some kind of weapon, but I've never seen him use it to hurt anything. I can see this spirit sometimes. I wish I could talk to him I don't know his name. I can never tell if I'm hearing a spirit or imagining it. It sounds like I voice I don't know is echoing around the room. Asking me questions or trying to get my attention. Could that be a spirit? Someone please tell me some way to learn how to see and hear them better! The only thing that helps me detect them is my strong energy.
My friend who does not have strong energy can't sense energy or see spirits or anything. She doesn't believe in that stuff. I noticed people with weak energy don't have any strong abilities. People with unusual energy stand out to me and I can track strong energy by focusing. It feels like an invisible path appeared in front of me that I can feel! It's very hard to explain because the path is made of energy. It's like a dog following a scent.
I like my abilities, but I have no help on making them better I have been struggling on my own trying to make them better without anyone knowing what I'm doing. What should I do? I can't tell my mom she will just think I'm being weird and make me talk to a social worker or something and I don't want that!
