Real Psychic Experiences

I Can Read Pictures, But I Don't Know What It's Called?

I joined a psychic forum and I joined in some posts just for fun at first. The posts each showed one pictures or a few of the same place and we were told to write what we felt about them. I was worried I'd feel stupid, but I typed/posted what I thought anyways and then I looked at the answers.

I think it is easier to post them rather than to clarify it in another way.

Picture of an old building with a Do Not Enter sign on a fence. The area is deserted. The walls are crumbled and broken down.

My Predicted Answer (similar to this): It feels like a prison to me, yet for some reason I don't understand clearly I sense people who smile and enjoy themselves. I see a swift opposite in emotional turns from this to a lot of people in one place that feel vicious and fight a lot. I see them outside for some reason as if it is encouraged I see negative stuff that happens outside. It feels trapped. I believe a lot of people died in this place in a terrible way that feels just disturbed.

Answer:The picture is part of the old Military prison at Bodmin Gaol in Cornwall in South West England. Many people died there, many committed suicide. The small openings had thick wooden doors and were entrances to tiny rooms were up to 30 people were kept in one cell, sometimes standing room only.

Many of them were taken out tried and then hanged in a public session which the local people used to attend as a day out!

I assume the smiles I found out of place would be people who viewed and supported the killed prisoners.

Picture of a tree of some sort.

My predicted Answer: I feel very different with this one. I feel almost happy in some way. For some reason a bit nostalgic. I see a kid and maybe a family or a parent. I see imagination and a lot of elation. It's as if this tree carries some sort of history or elevated value emotionally or spiritually. It's as if it is some sort of spiritual mark or symbol. It's almost like the cross to a Christian or a mark of a Goddess to a wiccan. It's just very pure and uplifted to me. I almost got this feel of a decoration of celebratory symbol of some sort.

Answer:This yew tree is said to be over two thousand years old and to have given shelter to Joseph of Arimathea who is said to have brought the Holy Grail to Britain. People often come to hug the tree or sit and meditate in the peaceful grounds. Children often run around and play here too.

I've known I'm a bit empathic and I sort of felt I picked up on the emotions attached to the pictures so is this part of my empathic ability or is this another ability such as remote viewing or clairvoyance of some type?

I think it is called remote viewing. Sometimes I can do it but not all the time

Who is Martin? I had not been on here for years. I all of a sudden have a weird urge to study my gifts. I tried to get rid of them or ignore them as I started to give psychic readings and it drained me, but I feel lost without it. I love my abilities and I feel blessed to have them. My real name is Jolene, not Martin.

wow catching up on this story's posts was depressing. I don't see why we can't all just get along. It seemed that three of my friends were offended or appalled. Listen and listen well. This site is not for fighting. This site is for helping those like us so that they may learn the gifts that they have been given. Religion and disbelief get in the way of this task that we are given and it should not. All of the people on here are like a large family. We know what the other people on here are going through better than anyone else. And that's why we are on here to find someone to help and/or help us. I want everyone to look back at these past posts and tell me if this is the proper way to talk to a family member. Would you talk to your brother, your mother, or your cousin this way? Then why should you talk to anyone else this way? I have left this site before because the fights that people get into on here I won't be driven away again. I will stay until this extended psychic family is brought to peace.

Oh and by the way Itabo did you look at the books that I recomended?

Let us all get back to this story, and keep away from the side ones as it seems to have caused a riff.
That is enough, and let us hope the discussion is closed to IT on THIS page.
Thank you all.

Itabu, May I suggest you look up both Retrocognition (the ability to perceive or see events that have taken place in the past) and Retrocognitive Telepathy (the ability to read thoughts generated in the past)?
There are those who can FEEL what the persons in a photograph were feeling, emotionally, at the time of the taking. Some can feel what the photograph "snatched".
I am drawn to give my impression of the "prison". There was a time when public hangings were a bit of a social gathering. People would gather from all over to witness the act. Believe it or not, they would set up blankets and picnic baskets and brought their children along for the festivities. It was a truly a morbid time in history. The smiling and laughter that you picked up MAY have been from those "visiting townsmen women and children".
Thank you.

To answer your question... There are those departments that do at times turn to Psychics when everything else seesm to be a 'dead end'. It's not main stream media but you can research actual reports of either a Psychic going to the police with information or an officer at his 'wits end' trying something 'crazy' with positive results.

Bbdeathspark,

Actually Scropiogirl was not that far off topic... She just used anothers story to 'publish' her pictures and get 'answers' instead of waiting for the submission page to re-open... So the 'reading pictures' is/was on topic... But her questions had nothing to do with the O/P's oringnal thread.

Sorry Itabu I hope somewhere in here you found some answers... To your direct question... The one in your Title... Intuitive is the word that comes to mind... One who recieves images/feelings relating to things in a picture...

Or the book definition...

Intuitive: 1) known directly and instinctively, without being discovered or consciously perceived... 2) knowing things instinctively

Best way I can describe it is when handed a picture you instinctively 'feel/see' things that are happening/have happened to the person or at the site in the picture...

If your reading along I hope that helps...

Respectfully,

Rook

ScorpioGirl,

This started as a 'debate' between you and I. Things seemed to be going fine until I 'offered' alternate explinations to why the the doll in your picture may have been altered to look the way she does.

All of a sudden you became defensive, argumentitive and unexcepting of possible alternate explinations. All under the guise of saying I was the one who 'had a closed mind'... 'who couldn't 'read' pictures'. All with the Maturity level of a young child who has put their fingers in their ears and is screaming LALALALALALA! Because they don't want to hear anything other than agreement with their point of view.

I'm sorry I don't 'feel' anything from the doll in your pictures...I'm sorry I have a different 'idea' of why someone may have altered the dolls face to make it look the way it does. Fact of the Matter is that you offered no 'proof' that backed up your story...

FACT: you found her in a flea market.
FACT: her face has been altered, by hand. FACT: she is manufactured is such a way as to suguest she was made between 1920-1950. (There are still artisian doll makers that use these methods even today)...These are the FACTS as they were presented.

I offered an alternative explination and look what it's turned into...

I don't care if your 14 or 42, if you are going to collect 'haunted objects' you need to have the Maturity to do so, one that allows you to at least listen to alternate theories and you need to collect the 'stories' behind them, record your (and others) experiences with the item and tell the whole story... Not just offer your 'dreams' as validation to prove that this object 'harbors' the spirit you claim it does and hope that others agree with you.

You spent an entire post explaining to people how to use the 'Karma' voting system being used on this site... By your post I guess you put some 'weight' onto the number of 'Karma' points people may have... Well just have a look at my profile... You know what, I won't waste your time after I post this my 'count' will be... 152 POSTS and 219 KARMA points (😲). I could care less about that, but there it is sense you seem to put such stock in them...

So with that said, 'MOVE ALONG... NOTHING TO SEE HERE... MOVE ALONG... JUST KEEP GOING... MOVE ALONG... NOTHING TO SEE HERE.'

Respectfully,

Rook

Respect isn't the issue here. That is if you two even read the posts properly which I highly doubt 😐

Is Martin Itabu? If so I hope he comes back too.

Avoiding side comments and returning to the original poster:

Itabu,

Have you thought about how you can apply your abilities to aid others and yourself in a manner that would be benefical to society?

Do police actually use psyhics to find lost or kidnapped children?

I think the ability to "see" things from photographs if it developed fully could lead to the recover of those children. However, since I do not have those abilities I can't tell you if it is possible are not. Are there any experienced people with this ability out there that can mentor others with similar abilities?

Honestly, when will Martin come and stop all of this... Seems like no one else will listen to other people trying to stop it (By that, I mean Scorpio seemed off the subject...)

Wow this got out of hand, I just want to say please respect each other. Most of the people who bother with this site are very earnest in trying to help, but misunderstanding often arises. We need to remind ourselves and each other to remember the key concept of RESPECT.

Now Itabu, I wanted to try some experiments by infusing some pictures with meaning and emotions. I can post a link and you can post what you get from them and we can see what results we can achieve through testing both our abilities? We could make it a double blind experiment by emailing them to any interested third party who could then compare the results?

I don't know its just a thought, it might not be feasible.

Hello,
Scorpiogirl is it? Before you start getting all high on yourself you might want to go back in this thread and show me where Rook was rude or mean to you. I watched some of this evolve the last couple of days and you seem to throw a complete hissy at any mention of where that doll originated. Now normally I could really care less, but it seems to have gotten a fight started and everyone here will tell you I love a good fight.
So, you've chosen to take a stand, but in doing this you've also decided to take a swing at one of the most polite and decent people on this site. This is where you lose all credibility now, no one has come to back you and everyone is now just waiting for you to go away. 😆 😆 😆

You're welcome. I haven't used it either, it's kind of pointless if you ask me. I understand that all her little buddies had to come cyberly 'defend her' from the big bad new person, but you should understand, too that she was the firt one to throw out an insult.

Till now I never used the voting system. Many thanks scorpio for explaining.
But I doubt whether I WILL use it. For I'd rather write posts than judge others' posts, except if I can do this judgment in WORDS, as I did to your "SAtanist" slogan here.

It occurred to me that you all must not have read this, here I hope you learn something... At the top of each comments in a story you will see little arrows that you can click. The green one pointing up is a positive vote for that comment (you thought it was helpful, intelligent, insightful, relevant, etc), and the red one pointing down is a negative vote (you thought it was useless, irrelevant, idiotic, disrespectful, etc).

Comments with poor ratings (-5 or below) will be hidden, unless you click on the "Show Comment" link, and will lower someone's karma. Comments with positive ratings will help that person gain a good karma score in their profile page, letting others know about their good reputation as a contributor to this site. Note that for obvious reasons, you can't vote for your own comments.

To prevent abuse, there is a daily limit of 20 votes per user, so make them count! We also use a few rules to detect unwanted actions and will give an error message to the user in those cases. Please use the voting system in the spirit it was intended, which is to reward well developped posts and dismiss those that are counter productive, not just reward your friends and punish users you disagree with.

Whoa! Where's the fire, ScorpioGirl?

I'm going along the lines of what NaturalScience has stated. Rashidah's beliefs in NO WAY, make her a Satanist. And also, as NaturalScience has said, once more, if you throw around such generalizations, you might as well throw them around to the rest of us.

I know Rook, and I know Rashidah. Both are very open to paranormal instances, but both will also question the data put in front of them, as everyone should. As my favorite literary character, Sherlock Holmes, states: "Never theorize before you have data. Invariably, you end up twisting facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts". Literary character or not, I believe we all have a bit to learn about Sherlock. Anyway... That's another tangent...

Calling them crude generalizations puts you in the same boat as your opinions on them.

Take a breather, come back, and avoid rash statements.

Au revior. 😐 😊 ❤

I was sharing an experience and trying to find someone who is able to read pictures. I don't know how many times I have to inform you all of this, and then I was accused by this Rashidah that I was 'lacking wisdom' and continously doubted by two members of this site who obviously could not read photos. Now If one of these people do not want to hear my opinion of them, then they should not come and give me theirs, of me and my experience over and over again and try to insult me. Last time I checked this site was to share paranormal happenings not repetitively doubt others stories, by all means post your opinion and go, or if you do not know nothing of the subject, it would be nice if you wouldn't even do that.

ey scorpio stop throwing slogans around you like "satanist", and if you really stand by calling Rashidah by this name also have the courage to call me a "pothead" - but you would be as wrong with this insult as you are with what you attribute to Rashidah. I know her nature. It is the very opposite of that of an unscrupulous devil-worshipper!

To me it seems that the old categories of which side, good or bad, a spirit belongs to, have become invalid at least in parts, or are no longer understood properly.

Thus good people as Rashidah can seem to be in contact with "devils" and get their reputation spoiled by this idea just because they are honest enough that they meet with spirits that happen to have choosen a disreputed name as "Lucifer",

While others who are worth nothing at all except perhaps by their ability to talk people into non-chemical drunkenness and to seduce lots of married women in their hood can become Evangelical T.V. Preachers just because they affirm that Jesus is their God and their spirit guide...

God only knows Good from Evil!

I never said it was one of those dolls, merely that it resembled these types of dolls, one in particular.

As far as 'feeling/seeing' things in the picture (s) I'll admit seeing auras is not 'my lot' in life... Empathy...yes...Astral Projection...yes...Tarot Card reader...yes... Seeing Spirits...yes...Helping Spirits 'Cross Over'...yes... Speaking with Spirits...some, but not very often...

I have asked so many questions because I 'feel' nothing from this doll you call Pandora... To me... And this is MY OPINION... She is just a doll that someone has 'modified'.

As for the dreams you are having about her history... Her past... I have no doubt that you are having them. What I question, and again this in MY OPINION, is if they are coming from a 'spirit' that resides in this doll or from your own imagination 'creating' a story that 'fits' Pandora's modifications.

I'll quote you now...

"She also was made with real hair, that is how they made dolls in the 1920-1950's." This is the first solid fact you have posted other than the 'blood' is hand painted. You said yourself you bought her out of state at a flea market, you said yourself that you've learned about her 'history' by dreams she gave you...'forceful dreams' is how you put it I believe.

Again, I see a doll that has been 'altered'...I do not 'feel' a Spirit in or around this doll... But these are MY OPINIONS please feel free to take them or leave them but cease and desist with the...

"the very stupid and the very powerfull have something in common. They do not alter their veiws to fit the FACTS, they alter the facts to fit their VEIWS wich can be quite uncomfortable if you are the fact that needs altering." for I am neither. My mind is very open and I refuse to close it...it's easier to help others with it open.

Respectfully,

Rook

When a razor phone is fliped closed, and you take a picture, it is the 'mirror effect' and I am not 'faking' anything. I was trying to find someone who could read/sense photo's and auras, which you obviously cant. Otherwise you'd be aware of what this is. I am tired of people asking for different photos so they can make them selves 'believe' or not believe. That is not why I posted this. You know, the very stupid and the very powerfull have something in common. They do not alter their veiws to fit the FACTS, they alter the facts to fit their VEIWS wich can be quite uncomfortable if you are the fact that needs altering. Here is the one from my profile that was taken with a closed razor phone http://i.imgur.com/JGGTg.jpg and here is a back veiw. She also was made with real hair, that is how they made dolls in the 1920-1950's. This is not a manufactured living dead doll, If you are so sure of your self that this is one of those, why don't you just find the series or name for it then? You can't can you hmmm... And the one that is slightly similar is in no way the same doll, so If this is infact not 'Dawn' then I guess you are wrong. Unless you can find something else slightly similar.

ScorpioGirl,

"I was holding her and it was taken with a razor flip phone, the kind you can take a picture with the phone being closed."

Ummm...still doesn't explain the 'switched sides'...

I was placing myself 'behind' the doll (picturing myself in the dolls place) and the 'damage' still appeared to have shifted sides 'between' pictures...

I thought about it... If you were to 'flip' the picture in a photo editing program that might give that effect... But alas you've taken down the picture on your profile so now we may never know.

Unless...could you please post the picture you had in your profile along with the 3rd and 4th picture from one of your posts? This would let everyone compare the pictures together and maybe we can find some answers...

And for the record... The dolls (if you follow this link... Http://www.livingdeaddolls.com/lddsite.html) are made of porcelain and the teeth on Dawn (series 9) really resemble the teeth on your Pandora...

Not saying your 'faking' this or anything... But be careful of things you pick up at flea markets... They maybe just what your told... Or Absolute fakes...

Respectfully,

Rook

When you call something ugly or hideous, Or even when you say someone is lacking wisdom, that is judging, no? And She chose this doll because it belonged to her in life, before some idiot altered it. I don't want to hear you go on with your petty insults, I simply wanted to speak to someone about reading/sensing pictures and auras, so be gone.

I am glad that we are in the topic of wisdom here for I see it lacking.

First off I did not judge anything. Reread my last post for clarification.

Secondly of all vessels, why did the spirit being choose one of a deranged, bloodied up looking doll? And I see you stated that it is a spirit of a witch too. How typical.

How old are you by chance?

The photo to me looks like if it was modified to be presented as shock value. I can see the marks clearly on the doll's face. It is obvious.
ScorpioGirl (36 posts)

13 years ago (2011-01-19)
No I didn't alter the doll in anyway, and I have it around me because I understand it. The vessel may be 'ugly' to you, but it is only a shell. Kind of like the body in which you reside, so judging a soul or spirit by it's shell, isn't very wise.

I know I may be late on this post session and may not know what is going on but I have to ask what the...?

That picture on your profile is hideous. Did you mark up that doll? And also, why would you have that thing around you?

Is this for 'shock value' or something 😕

These were taken an hour ago the one in my profile was taken when I first got the doll home, I know what it is... When I took the one in the profile, I was holding her and it was taken with a razor flip phone, the kind you can take a picture with the phone being closed.
