Recently I have been experiencing flashing lights in my peripheral vision occasionally. It's very quick like a flash of camera. It's a misty white flash color. Sometimes it's very bright. It's very big and what I find interesting is that it always appear on top of my head, never the bottom or side of my peripheral view. The light is always hovering over me whenever I see it. So sometimes I feel that I'm missing its top half so I would look up to see the whole of it but then it disappear since it doesn't stick long. It looks like lightning and disappears quick like it also. And again it only appear on top of my peripheral vision which I find this strange.
Now I don't really see the flashes anymore but now I see sparkles.
I recently keep seeing sparkles. They are very tiny that flash very quickly in the distance of my peripheral view. Sometimes there is one, sometimes two or three. It happens very fast like a second or less. I can't really see its color since it just seems like a bright white flash and that's what I notice first but these bright lights may have other colors I just have not distinguished it yet.
When I experience the strange lights and sparkles I didn't feel threatened or anything. I am just very confused and amazed at the same time.
I don't know if this is something I should worry about though. Have any of you experienced it? Any idea on what I've experienced? The time I see these strange lights, what does it mean? Now I don't seem to see it anymore instead I see sparkles. What are your thoughts on this?
Maybe what I've experienced is just due to having bad eyesight? I will tell you that I don't have the perfect eyesight. But I see just fine. I don't wear glasses. I notice little floaters in my left eye but that's it. It doesn't bother me.
